Warning! Concerning DALI Fantasy Painting Service...

Fellow Fantasy Footballers,

I’m writing you on behalf of a number of people who during the last few months have had dealings with Daniel Shelswell aka Danny Shelswell aka Jason Paul from DALI Fantasy Painting Service.

With this message we want to warn you about handing over your models to Daniel for so-called “commission painting”.

Daniel has had possession of several of our Blood Bowl models over the last few months but neither of us has received any finished models even though he claims to have sent them weeks and even months ago. He’s also been unable to show us any pics of the finished models. When asked for these pics, proof of postage etc., Daniel either ignores our requests or comes up with one poor excuse after the other.

Furthermore, a number of the so-called “sample” pictures that Daniel has uploaded to his facebook group (DALI Fantasy Painting Service) and sent via e-mail to us to show off his work, are either stock photos taken from random web shops or nicked from other painters found on facebook, Coolminiornot and other websites. In other words, he’s taking credit for other people’s work. Some of these include:

Daniel might talk the talk but he sure doesn’t walk the walk…

Apparantly, Daniel is now using a few new aliases: 'Lee Edwards' and '3 Dice Painting'. So be wary of these as well.

Yeah, if I had seen that topic first I would never have sent him anything. I recognized it as a bit of a gamble, anyway, but that phantom tournament would have definitely warned me off.

I am trying to sort it. I sent stuff with out track and trace and they have gone missing. I have contacted people it's regarding and I have said I will pay them back buy buying them new models

Did you guys send payment to him? When I take on a commission I only ask for half at the beginning and keep my customer regularly updated so if they are not happy with the outcome they can cancel the project or give the go ahead to finish. Not much help now though

I don't believe any money was exchanged. The loss of the teams themselves is the issue.

I just noticed that these have appeared over the last day or so and i've never seen any Gaspez Norse on Ebay before. Fully appreciate that I may have over analysed the situation though.

And no, no money was exchanged. Only models.

I should maybe note that last week, a couple of our teams suddently appeared in his mailbox. Apparantly they were both "rejected" by the postal service and made it back to him. Packages to Denmark and Belgium, respectively. Both returning on the same day. He asked for our addresses (again) but haven't heard anything since.

The models I sent were successfully delivered
I have yet to receive models from him/them despite his claim of mailing them over 2 months ago
He reads my messages but does not reply
I would like to give him the benifit of the doubt, but communication is key.
