Hi Ulvardar!ulvardar wrote:Would you mind sharing the repice of your Pact's pink colour? It's perfect for a project I'm working on.
No problem. I start with a white spray undercoat on all my figs these days. Then for the pink it's a thinned layer of Emperor's Children (EC) pink; a wash with a Carroburg Crimson; then hit the raised surfaces with EC and progressively highlight with mixes of EC with white.
There are a few more pics of the team in the NZ thread for this team here: http://nzbbn.com/viewtopic.php?f=61&t=166. Note the elf, ogre, skaven, mino and a few lineman have only had the pink and the wash so far; and in the second post down there's a lineman who's had only the first pink layer. Good luck with your project, look forward to seeing some pics!

Cheers - he's just an Island of Blood rat ogre with a headswap, his tail cut off (and used on the Gutter Runner Hero in the skaven pics) and the gas tank on his shoulder removed. I really like how it's turned out, hopefully the rest of the paint job will do him justicepetitgars wrote:Very good StuffIt on the ice troll!

Great teams Shteve0! The Norse are taking shape nicely. Those skaven storm vermin are spot on, and great jobs with the Dark Elfs too

So my chaos pact are finished but for varnishing... and to be honest I'm terrified of doing any more with them (including taking a pic) until they're sealed in case I chip them
In the meantime, tomorrow's the final of the local league - where my dark elves face a wood elf team I had to fight hard to get a result against only a few games ago. Once that's over I'll be finishing and sealing that team too!
Then it's about a three week break before the new season starts, in which I'll be running halflings, so I did a fair bit of work on my next team this weekend... and they're still a bit scruffy, but they're starting to take shape.
Note the guy second right started life as a dungeonbowl dwarf. After making one of these dwarf -> halfling conversions for the 2013 TFF legacy team (earlier in the thread somewhere) I'd orginally planned to make a whole team of these guys. Willy's ultimate campaign changed that, but I still found room for a couple of these little dudes in the squad. Just please don't look at his feet

On a side note I'm thinking of buying or converting some secret weapons for these guys so I can play them as proxy goblins. Anyone know how the Willy goblin weapons set measures up size wise against the ultimate flings?

Those guys are amazing. I mean, really, really good.
A really nice use of some models that I would have dismissed.

I love the color scheme for the flings and it is a great job, I know that painting white or white-like-color is quite difficult. Keep up the good work

Cheers guys, really appreciate the comments
Managed to get a little more progress in yesterday. I was off work sick and didn't realise how much a little painting was going to take it out of me... foolishness. Still, only basing left and these guys will be ready for sealing.
