Yes it would, but our de facto governing body is suffering from a paucity of leadership and vision.voyagers_uk wrote:Would it not make sense for the more respected members of the various communities to form a combined rules committee and see what can be done to arrive at LRB7 for all to enjoy and maintain the cameraderie

This has already happened a couple of times. Few people cared.voyagers_uk wrote:Would it not make sense for the more respected members of the various communities to form a combined rules committee and see what can be done to arrive at LRB7 for all to enjoy and maintain the cameraderie

Re: Cyanide are now hosting the Icepelt rulebook
There is a lot of stuff and nonsense written around 'what might be' in topics such as this, but here we just have a spinning of the facts.DeToX86 wrote:There's also the Apes of Wrath team that is getting added to FUMBBL.
It's true that this roster, along with others, is going to be available in the unofficial, house rule enabled League division. It's incorrect to imply this is equivalent to Cyanide's house ruled rosters that are to be available in main, general play. The Apes are not going to be used in official, main, competitive divisions at any time. You may as well have said Fairies have been available on FUMBBL for years. They have been, but not in what you'd consider general play. Depending on your point of view, one of FUMBBL's main strengths is the way it has, to date, steadfastly attempted to keep the main divisions as close to the official rules as possible whilst increasingly giving choice elsewhere. Ice Cubes v Space Marines may one day be possible in the unofficial division; but that's not going to impact people playing by the rules, unlike on Cyanide where it seems you're stuck with house ruled rosters.
Wild speculation isn't for me. I've no doubt this topic will run and run, but whatever Cyanide does is unlikely to impact you if you don't play there, assuming no change in policy elsewhere.

I'd still play them though. Better than Blue Team Space Ultras.
Once upon a time all GW's in the UK had to have a painted Ultra marine army in the window. Apart from Liverpool. Liverpool had Blood Angels because when they had toffees in the window it kept getting kicked in. True story.
So. Yeah. What was the question?

Focus/Cyanide was again proving they are incompetent. Can’t even run a PHPBB (is it?) forum properly. All they need to do is appoint an admin who knows what they are doing. I'm sure there a few people who would volunteer.sann0638 wrote:Meanwhile, back at the ranch it still isn't visible.

TOs! You do not need multiple copies of rosters. It's a waste of paper.

Wasn't trying to spin anything. I was just pointing out that they were added as an option.Purplegoo wrote:There is a lot of stuff and nonsense written around 'what might be' in topics such as this, but here we just have a spinning of the facts.DeToX86 wrote:There's also the Apes of Wrath team that is getting added to FUMBBL.

I disagree. There are TT leagues that have since added the Khorne roster to their league and the same with the Apes. Just because you may not want them in your league doesn't mean that a league won't decide to use them. (Through whatever means the league uses to make changes for house rules.)
Anyway, not trying to ruffle feathers or spin anything, just saying that things are changing all around the rules and IMO it's only a matter of time before the rules themselves are effected.

I'm surprised that Cyanide didn't update it to include the Khorne list (and that they did include the Slann list).
