As always this will be a multi-system event comprising of the following game systems:
• Warhammer 40K – Highlander (separate draw from all comers)
• Flames of War - Campaign allied v axis
• Blood Bowl
• Bolt Action
So bring your mates and come play.
Details for all the other systems can be found on TWF.
Hopefully there should be no clash BB wise this year as TS isn't hosting BB. This one will be run by myself and Valen.

Non NAF members must pay £27 to cover NAF membership.
Anything Else?:
The event is scheduled for 5 rounds as a whole, but BB will be 6 rounds: 4 rounds on Saturday, 2 rounds on Sunday (late start and early finish).
This is made possible by the change of venue (see below) which actually benefits us more than any of the other systems.
Change of Venue:
Due to a lull in the number of 40k entries (they're blaming this on 7th ed, I reckon they're right) the event has been moved to the Ribble Warriors normal home:
The new venue is just 1.9 miles from the Atrium on one of the main trunk roads into Preston at the following address:
The Frenchwood Social Club.
Strawberry Gardens,
Bence Rd,
Preston,
PR1 4NP
What does that mean

Well in practical terms, not much. It is a nice venue and recently refurbished. It has a fully stocked bar (unlike the Atrium) and prices are reasonable.
Parking is much easier, there is ample free parking outside without the risk of getting a ticket (a real risk near the uni, where residential passes are required).
Regarding accommodation, bear this is mind:
The new venue is FURTHER away from the Premier Inn and the Preston International.
The new venue is CLOSER to the Preston Holiday Inn.
The Travellodge Preston is very close. I haven't mentioned it in the past due to being much further from the Atrium than the other three.
It's also brighter and better lit that the Source bar at the Atrium, which is good for us. And the move means that we will be able to play 4 rounds on Saturday without having to worry about time constraints, so we are going ahead with 6 rounds and a lie in on Sunday morning.
Finally, the move means that the entry fee of £22 will include lunch and donuts, no extra payments required, which is a bit of a bonus.
That is it for now. I'll keep you informed.
Cheers,
JT.
