Yo there HDWSBBL crew and all!

Hope noone's put off by UKTC looking too competitive. That's really not the idea. I'm hoping for a celebration of team play which will appeal to all tourney players. Lower tiered teams get extra skills so those wanting to take goblins or vamps and the like get an incentive. Apart from that the rules are pretty straightforward. Sometimes keeping things simple has it's merits.

Here's hoping Cromwell Rumble is a success. I'd be delighted if any of you decide to give UKTC a whirl as well :)

Approve of the Tier spread needed within the team :D

One question on the format, once rosters are settled within the each team this looks to be run exactly the same was as an individual tourney, just with the team points added up at the end. Is that the case or are teams of 3 coaches matched against another team of 3 coaches each round?

Assuming if it's the normal swiss draw that you cant play a team member?

The teams are matched up against other teams so you don't play a team member or the same team (At least depending on the amount of teams of course and the final round). Both individual and group results are calculated, the group results will be used to determine winners etc... for group awards, with the individual results being used for individual awards.
We will also position the boards so you play next to your team mates.

Hope that clears it up, thanks for pointing it out I will go back and add it to the rulespack :)

Those rules are lovely 8)

Should be in... as a freebooter please, don't want anything to do with those HDWSBBBBBBBL people (I vote Wilf's name for them is adopted )

I'll probably be bringing along at least 6 pts worth of teams, so can fill a spot in a power-gamer team if needed :P

I will be there :)

Is it done on weight or actual team numbers? If its actual numbers then I will have to intimidate.... erm i mean ask 2 others to join me in power gaming on the bottom tables :D

I may actually be able to make this one - first one this year that's close enough for me to do with work commitments that hasn't been cancelled or not happened! 8)

I'm having problems getting two teams mates who can confirm they will definitely attend this with me. I have a couple who might be able to team up but they can't confirm until closer to the time. Wafty gits...

I'm sure there will be others in a similar situation, there will definitely be a freebooter team or two if needed!
I'll prod Alex when I next see him, to get an "interested but maybe not in a team" list added :-)
