Tourney idea only for those with stamina....

Just throwing this out there to see what numbers would be like.

The Don and I jokingly discussed the idea of Block Around The Speedbowl (or BATS). A 24 hour BB tourney, with strict 2 minute turns, enabling us to cram in up to 20 games! (Though I would possibly recommend only 18 or 16 for the sake of sanity, and the number of games would be capped by the number of coaches.)

Are you man/mad enough?

I like the sound but I would caveate that with, I would like to see how my first intro to Speedbowl goes.

Being realistic I would also have to see where the hypothetical comp venue would be; oop north at BATC's home or down sowf at Speedbowls home or at some conveiniantly located mental health institution somewhere inbetween.

Well this is purely hypothetical (at the moment), but date could be any time (maybe a bank hols so everyone [nearly everyone, those in office type jobs] has the Monday off work) and the location would be halfway between BATC and Exiles. So..... Nottingham...?

On 2002 we had a tournament like that on Spain. At first it sounds like fun but it ended being exhausting

If it was a reasonably close/convenient location, and a date I could potentially wangle... I could certainly be tempted to start filing approval papers with the Mrs for a weekend out.

If you want to make it more insane: everyone gets a different team each round
