Its also how you word your actions.

"This player will try to dodge away" = fail.

"This player will dodge away" = more likely to pass.

But the crux of it is definitely this: the more important the roll, the more likely you are to throw your dice away after it :P

Unless you're Hawk, then you'll just throw your dice anyway.

Currently an ex-Blood Bowl coach, most likely to be found dying to Armoured Skeletons in the frozen ruins of Felstad, or bleeding into the arena sands of Rome or burning rubber for Mars' entertainment.

A friend of mine in our league showed me a useful technique. When he REALLY needs a roll to happen he makes sure the dice bounce off his opponent before settling on the gameboard. At least that's what I think he was doing.

TOs! You do not need multiple copies of rosters. It's a waste of paper.

J_Bone wrote:The assumption I have been working on for the independent rolls is that it would work in much the same way as calculating the odds for a double 6 on 2D6 in that you just times the odds of each event by the other so 1/6 x 1/6 becomes 1/36. So the 2+ then a 4+ becomes 5/6 x 3/6 = 15/36 = 2.4/6 so this action is 0.4/6 more reliable than a 5+ roll.
you should not count only this into account when your are playing.
your thrower could die because of this extra GFI. In league, it could be weird...

That's a very good point... A 5+ pass might mean a turnover but has a 0% chance of injury!

As long as the throw was underarm and didn't hit the opponent in the face, I don't see a problem with this. :D
