Chaos Cup news!

Rules pack should be done by end of week. Very similar to last year.

New Chaotic Brush painting contest rules and details will be up by end of week as well.

And most exciting....Katie (rowdykatie) has stepped up and will be working with me on running the Chaos Cup, which will also allow me to play in the tournament and participate in a podcast challenge that day as well!

She's going to do a great job as she has already has experience co-running other larger tournaments, notably Gencon, Stupor Bowl, and Put a Ring On It.

It's because I'm scared of losing data!

When I setup the site in 2011, it started showing zlurpcast.com in the URLs since it was my hosting account. ChaosCup.com was just an alias. Over the years when I setup other sites I was able to do it properly where you couldn't tell, (for example: http://shootradio.com/shoot-radio-2013- ... a-special/) Still Zlurpcast host, but no one can see that.

I was always afraid of messing with that portion of the FTP or Wordpress admin for fear of something catastrophic happening!

I suppose I could just avoid all of it and tell people to go to ChaosCup.com for everything and not really give out direct links.

I am working on a new Chaos All-Stars figure to hopefully be the give away for this year. As long as the sculptor finishes on time ... we should keep that tradition going.

Please only fill out the pre-registration form if you are attending Chaos Cup. You are not allowed to "buy" stuff in lieu of coming.

There will be no items sold to non-attendees until after the tournament....and that is only if there is something left. No promises can be made.

Question: what time do the Friday night bowling festivities start and how long do they last? Folks coming in from out of town on Friday (like me) may find it useful to know so that they can plan their travel accordingly.

7pm on Friday. As far as how long, I would figure a couple hours, but if someone needed to leave early, that is totally fine too!

Looking forward to seeing you Burgun! (btw, did you get my email confirmation? I got it rejected the first time, maybe a typo in the address?)

Also quick FYI: Deadline to pre-register including pitch purchase, Friday night bowling, or t-shirt purchase NOW EXTENDED TO 7/31. I didn't think it was fair to cut if off before everyone got a look at what the pitch will look like. Sorry for the delays on this one.

Normal pre-registration cut off (without additional purchases) is still 8/31.
