Update ... Greendog has agreed to join the KickStarter and we have worked out a licensing arrangement for the Thalassians.

When I get some more information I'll update the list of 17 to fill that one in.

As I get images of each of the teams I'll update the post at the front of the thread as well.

Looking forward to working with Paco at Greendog to bring his full team into Trollcast.

This is the KickStarter I need to do in order to finish moving all the teams over to Trollcast so that I am set up to do the Elfball relaunch with version 3.0 of the rules. I want to be able to offer every team available in the game in an inexpensive Trollcast version. I'm still missing several of them ... but it is my goal that if this KickStarter is successful ... all the Elfball teams in the rulebook will get converted to Trollcast. Then I'll be able to make the move.

Update to the KickStarter ... two more companies have contacted me today on my search to add to the pewter to Trollcast list for this KickStarter.

Item #18: Band of Orcs just contacted me and agreed to allow us to move their band figures into Trollcast. Hoping it will now be only a $15 set ... and might even be a stretch goal to include them with the deluxe version of the team.

Item #19: In negotiations with ZN Games to convert the impressive Ulfhedner sculpt to Trollcast with a price tag hopefully of $8 to $9.

Working on getting a Vampire team in Trollcast as of today. 6 different Vampire models with 5 different Thrall models. Not a definite ... but it is in the works and we'll see if it can happen.

I've just agreed to sell my existing Slann team in preparation for this Kickstarter. Will be watching with interest and certainly pledging early doors.

Okay ... this is really pushing it in terms of getting it ready in time ... but I'm really trying to get an Elf team added to the mix for this KickStarter. I got a kick today that made me realize that if I pushed ... I should be able to get it ready in time.

I updated the first post on this thread based on the emails I've received. Right now we have good leads for 16 new Trollcast teams being part of this KS + 2 extra sideline / big guy figures. I have emails out regarding 4 other teams from 3 other companies but I consider all 3 of these long shots currently so I did not put them on that list on the first post of the thread.

Received 2 emails this morning for new updates:

1) ZN Games has agreed to a license with us to convert the Ulfhedner into Trollcast! This is a large figure ... easily Big Guy sized.

This means we'll be able to offer the team in Trollcast for $35 as well with 6 Ulfhedner, 5 Werelings and 5 Werepoodles:


2) JBDemon Studio has agreed to a contract to allow us to include Big Paul as part of the Deep Ones team!

I had a big guy lined up to add to this team ... but this figure is much better and fits in with the team perfectly!

We are now up to 18 teams to move to Trollcast with this KickStarter if all the ??? on the front page I updated come through + the Band of Orcs. Still willing to add on more.

Is this a new frog team or are you making the current Calasain team range trollcast? (I would love the latter as I like your current take on that team rather then all the frog ones others make. Just my $.02 I understand if its a new frog team.)

The original purpose of the Calasain was based on GW saying that a figure had to be over 50% GW products to be allowed in an event (or in some cases played with in a bunker store). So I made the Calasain sprues to be used with Kroot Carnivore legs and torsos so that you could have a GW legal Slann team. However my source that I had that could get me those boxes has dried up and I had some complaints that the metal arms were difficult to use with the plastic Kroot bodies.

So the good news of that story Lychantrope is that as part of this KickStarter project I hired a sculptor to design 3 new torso/legs for us that work with our existing sprues to replace the single pose torso/leg that you got in the Kroot box. So yes ... the current plan is to offer a $35 Calasain team with 4 Blitzers, 4 Catchers, 12 Linemen (6 with helmets and 6 without) and full set of our numbered shoulder pads (1 to 16) and then a deluxe version for $40 is planned that will add in a Sarcos Leviathan if desire. The arms and heads will still all be separate pieces but by being so, all the poses for the team should still be unique. The original inspiration for the heads was 2E based ... so I went back to 2E for inspiration for the bodies as well and I'm really happy with how they look so far in the WIP photos.

As I get more information from the sculptor ... I'll update the thread to show them off.

That is great that you are getting 2nd ed-inspired sculpted for the Calasian frogs. I will have to get them for sure even though I already have three Slann teams. Can't wait to see the new torsos.

Only Tom can get me to willingly spend more money on fantasy football figures ( currently have 80 teams).
