Since 2013 went well, pledge-wise, here's my pledge for 2014.

In order:

1: Paint my Undead (which is an entire team, not an addition to my Necro)
2: Paint my Halflings
3: Paint 5 starplayers, including one big guy
4: Paint my Dwarves
5: Either paint my wood elves (if I got them by then) or (strip completely and) repaint my Chaos

Optional:

[6: paint those hypothetical wood elves or (strip completely and) repaint my Skaven]
[7: Paint 6 Starplayers]

Continue to send out teams to be painted by commission after giving up painting last year. :)

1. Finish setting up a painting area downstairs.

2. Paint 1 of my 17 unpainted BB teams so I can play more then orcs without borrowing a team.

3. Paint 1 of my 12 unpainted Dreadball teams.

4. Learn to play Dreadball.

5. Play some Elfball.

6. Play at least 1 BB TT game per month and go to 2 tournaments.

7. Play at least 3 online FUMBBL and Cyanide games.

Chances of success, similar to Darkson's.

Because I managed to post this in the wrong thread:

Not quite on topic but close enough. I turn 30 in June, I've set myself a ten point list of things to achieve, some big (life, career things), some small (music, hobbies). One of them is to paint up two Blood Bowl teams and play at least five games.

I've loved the game since I was a kid (I think I was 11 when I bought my first miniatures - Griff Oberwald, Scrappa Sorehead and some goblins followed by the box set for Christmas and a Chaos team, Lord Borak and Morg N Thorg - my memory is good!). I've always stayed in touch with the game online but never really played much past 17. Last year I decided to get back into it, joined a local Blood Bowl forum, bought a couple of teams, made some introductions and... then promptly got a load of work that took me out of the north-east (and the country for a while) and didn't get to play a single game. 2014 will be my year.

I hope.

Hi again Al! Knew the name was familiar, you started a dialogue on our forum in 2012 then disappeared! I've bumped it just now, come on over and let us know if you'd like some games. Just started a free open format league and plenty of time to join. We have one other BB returner who is playing his first GBBL games this season too, so you wouldn't be on your own! Link to the old thread is...

2014 means I should

1) Be apart of the online community more often to reconnect with many old friends

2) Go to 3 Blood Bowl Tournaments. I'm signed up for 2. 8)

3) Complete my collection of NFL themed teams. 1 Team for every race. 2 out for commission now, leaving 3 teams to compile. If I could only find Delfs linemen/blitzers that I liked!

4) Find time to finish painting some of the teams I've been working on for a few years.
