1. Buy a Dark Elf team (hopefully the Greebo one will be out soon)
2. Actually paint them
3. (non blood bowl goal) Lose weight
Also personal stuff but whatever, BLUD BUR!

Well, for 2014 that is.

1. – Finish the Chaos Dwarf team I’m 75% though
2. – Finish the Lizardmen team I’m half way through
3. – Paint up my Lahmia themed Vampire team with at least 4 stars
4. – Paint up my Slann team with at least 2 stars
5. – Paint up another team either a commission or one of the remaining teams I need to do Ogre, Halfings or Goblins.
Passed 1 and 2. :)
Failed 3 and 4, but have got all the bits for those 2 teams now at least.
I did paint up a full Norse Dwarf team complete with most stars for the NAF GT and have almost finished a Savage Orc team so 5 is passed. Plus I have not 1 but 2 lovely halfling teams to paint and am working on a goblin team. :)

I'll try to actually paint more teams than the ones I put together, at least with an 3:1 ratio.
(I have other stuff from different game systems I really want to give paint jobs to, so lets see how it goes).
Not exactly precise in my objectives, and haven't done as much as I planned to.
Anyway, I've managed to painted and Elf team, finish converting and painting a Chaos team, converted and painted a couple of dwarf fans in the spirit of "Da 40 Miners" Big House contest" (http://bloodbowlmayhem.blogspot.pt/2013 ... iners.html), and finish some minor scenario pieces and models both for Dungeon Bowl and a Gladiators project I have going on for some time.
The later half of the year was kind of low productive, hobby wise.

Not quite on topic but close enough. I turn 30 in June, I've set myself a ten point list of things to achieve, some big (life, career things), some small (music, hobbies). One of them is to paint up two Blood Bowl teams and play at least five games.

I've loved the game since I was a kid (I think I was 11 when I bought my first miniatures - Griff Oberwald, Scrappa Sorehead and some goblins followed by the box set for Christmas and a Chaos team, Lord Borak and Morg N Thorg - my memory is good!). I've always stayed in touch with the game online but never really played much past 17. Last year I decided to get back into it, joined a local Blood Bowl forum, bought a couple of teams, made some introductions and... then promptly got a load of work that took me out of the north-east (and the country for a while) and didn't get to play a single game. 2013 will be my year.

I hope.

Continue my quest to impart love, common sense and unity to Blood Bowl.
Do more tournaments, see more mates (new and old) at events.
Pay someone to paint a team for me.

This was my pledge for 2013:
Dr. Von Richten wrote: 0: Finish my Lizardmen (which shouldn't take long, since they're almost done currently)
1: Paint my Chaos Dwarfs, finally! (everything up to now has just been practice for this, my most beloved 'Silly Hats')
2: Paint my Undead (and see if I've improved my skills on the same mini's as I did for my Necros; Wights, Ghouls, Zombies)
3: Paint about 16 Starplayers, including one Big Guy (Grashnak Blackhoof) and 4 Chainsaws (Helmut, Max, Ugrot, Hack)
4: Paint my Goblins and the Goblin Starplayers (which means paint every secret weapon twice and 3 trolls including Ripper)
I achieved: '0', '1', and '4', about half of '3'. Instead of '2' I painted my High Elves, and In addition to all that I pimped my Necro, repainting them partially and generally improving them lots. Yay to me! :D
