Hi all - Cam Dub 2 is complete.

Congrats to all the winners, especially to Indigo (Norse) and Joemanji (Goblins) our champions. Full results to follow after sleep, and they are winging their way to the NAF shortly.

Lost and found - 2 black coats. One leather / leatherette, one not (erm, bad description, tired). If you claim them, I shall bring them with me the next time I see you.

Sincere thanks once again to all that made it, hope you had fun.

Schmeegoo.

Edit: I should also mention that the Stunty Cup that I neglected to announce was won by Hana_666 and her Halflings of pink doom. Congratualtions Hana, apologies for missing it, and you'll get your mug either in the post or when I next see you (WB?)!

Great Tourney SchmeeGoo. Matt and I had a great time and got to play great coaches and had some spectacular games. I'll definitely be coming back again.

Fantastic as ever! Huge thanks to Philgoo for organising and Schmee for putting us up.

Minor nerd emergency though - I've lost my bag of skill rings, it was left near the far end of the room opposite to the computer. It had over a hundred skill rings in and a set of spare dice so I'd REALLY appreciate if anyone has found it? Would cost a bomb to replace it! :(

Ack. That's a horror. When we swept the room we found two coats, but no nerd bag. Schmee, could you check with the landlord, that is, if noone else picked it up?

Thanks to Schmeegoo for the event, I personally LOVED it ;)

Favourite bits included getting most players whistling and singing Jurassic Park by the end of the weekend, farting so hard I made Don's eyes water and tipping an entire bowl of olives into Marley's pint. Worst part was laughing so hard at tipping olives into Marley's pint I sprayed Guinness onto Schmee's girlfriend's face.

Thanks to everyone, my top notch opponents but most especially the Manj for a sterling weekend of nerding.

Thanks to Schmee and Goo for organising the weekend. Was a great weekend of games and the format definitely is brilliant, I loved my guard and strip ball gobbos :) I was just left wishing I could have made some of the simpler dodges and blocks I attempted, rather than leaving most of the success to the crazy plays, either with the aforementioned gobbos, or one of my dodging blitzers... Cheers to my opponents, I had 6 cracking games which I thoroughly enjoyed. The underworld should be getting some more airtime at this rate

Was good catching up with familiar faces and meeting new folks. In a similar vein to Indigo, my favourite part of the weekend was Leipziger putting all manner of bar snacks into Sizzler's drink in a slow and methodical pattern, while Sizzle was still sat at the table. Apparently a couple of triple rum and cokes doesn't make one particularly observant...

Special (and slightly repetitive) thanks to Schmee and Goo for pledging the excess funds to my Movember campaign for Cancer Research UK. Should anyone else wish to donate you can do so here: http://www.justgiving.com/John-Pitcher every pound goes down very nicely thanks :)

Big thanks to Schmee and Purplegoo for organising an excellent event. The curry in the evening was a good social afterwards, although I think we were all paying for it the next day with some serious toxic airborne events on Sunday

Only my third tournament but pleased to see familiar faces and a great turnout.

Cheers to Don, Ian, John, Chris, Joe and Val for all being friendly coaches and giving an excellent set of matches. Thanks to everyone else for being welcoming and a good laugh.

My matches ranged from an utter humiliation at the hands of Joemanji to a surprise, dramatic win against Vmcat across the six rounds - great games and a real BB learning experience as well as a fun time.

See you at Boudica Bowl II in March 2014!

Thanks,
Matt.

Another great Camdub weekend completed :)

Thanks to Phil & Schmee for their hardwork and thanks to the opponents who served up 6 great games.

Mawph was an excellent team mate/drinking partner & the Sizzler found new ways to add extra layers to his legend (although he did leave some of them on the car park outside the hotel on Saturday night/Sunday morning).

Roll on 2015?
