Fans do not have to be represented by models, but it's much more fun if they are!

sure ;-)

Small report:

I took Wood Elves, 4 lino, 4 catcher, 2 WD, 1 tree and 2 RR. Also the 6FF, 2Cheerl and 2 AsC were part of the roster. My skills were Guard on a Catcher, Sure Hands on a Catcher, Frenzy on a WD, Strip Ball on a WD and Kick on a lino.

First game against a Frenzy-infested norse team coached by Fatty (Jeroen).
He boasted 7 frenzy players: 2 Ulfs with block, 2 Blitzers, 2 Runners with Frenzy, SnowTroll with Block, some lino and 2 RR.

The first drive was his and he scored relatively easy in his turn 2 though I did force him to make several dodge-pass-hand off and gfi-rolls. My turn 2 started well, ball safe and then the tree kicked the Snow Troll out off the game for good. The drive continued well. The tree caused another cas and a KO as did a WD so he was quickly running out off players. I switched sides twice to keep him away from my players, dodged out where I could (all worked) and scored earlier than I wanted in my turn 6 (I could easily have stalled the half away but decided against it). Jeroen went for the lead at half time but failed after I could already strip the ball off his ballcarier. I dodged a lot and scored 2-1 at half time.

Second half looked to be much like the same untill an important block (that would have freed another player that would have blitzed the way free for 3-1) quadskulled. Ball on the floor -> ball to an Ulf and trouble ahead. I did get another shot at the ball with the frenzy WD when Jeroen doubleskulled two turns later but all I could do was push him into the endzone for 2-2. I used my last RR there and on hindsight I should have saved that for the last two turns.

Now I HAD to score in two turns, a thing I had been trying to avoid all game. It worked quite well though and the win was never in danger even though we mistook 12 on the KO table for riot instead of pitch invasion.

Final score: 3-2 TD, 3-2 Cas and full points.

Second game was against SirSebstars Norse.
Troll with MB, 1 Ulf with Block, 2 Blitzers, MB and Guard and a DP lino, 2 RR and 13 guys.

I recieved and brought him down to 8 players, 2 cas (one by the tree) and a KO. The ball was safe and I continued to whittle his team down to score in turn 5 (again, earlier than anticipated but he had 5 players left or so). The 9 guys he had on the pitch for the second drive couldn't stop my offence and even through I lost a player it was 2-0 at half time.

The second half was much of the same with Sebastiaan basically giving the game away in order to collect some more Cas.

Final score 4-0 TD, 4-2 Cas and another set of full points. Treeman had 4 cas by now, more than he collected in 16-odd league games.

Last game was against Snotty, we were the only unbeaten players.
Dwarves with 2 block Runners, 2 Frenzy Blitzers and a guard longbeard.

Again this game was more of the same with this time my wardancers who were the stars of the game. The tree killed a longbeard early in the game, that got apo-ed. Another went KO, another over the edge, off the bridge (and Dwarfs sink straight away according to the tournie rules) for a 2-0 half-time score.

Second half was even more of the same and where Marco started with 6 dwarves a few more went off in various ways.

Final score: 5-0 TD, 5-3 Cas and a tournament win!

12 TD's and 10 cas in 3 games is pretty awesome for any team, and the cas especially for woodies. Would have won most TD as well and have come second or third with Cas. (edit: anyone good with numbers will count 12 cas in my game reports. This is because the dwarves that went off the bridge also counted towards the tournaments' cas-rules but are obviously not really caused by me). I suppose that reflects the insane dice I had in all games, especially the last two. I suffered one turnover in each of those games, and I feel that was mostly due to those earlier mentioned insane dice.

I fear the day the law-of-averages comes by and hits back.

Thanks JaM for organizing this, it was a good day!
