At this rate I'll be going on my own - it will be like 2005 all over again.
Still, rather a one-man trip than no trip at all!

Currently an ex-Blood Bowl coach, most likely to be found dying to Armoured Skeletons in the frozen ruins of Felstad, or bleeding into the arena sands of Rome or burning rubber for Mars' entertainment.

Yeah but with a miracle weekend and a top half finish, I could potentially gain 10pts plus 1pt bonus for having 10 coaches below me?lunchmoney wrote: You'd have to pull 10 points to force the tiebreaker and I think it's safe to say Glowworm is trying for it as well
Unlikely I know, but possible :p

Re: Exiles Part V: Werewolf Strikes Back 7&8/9/13 Dorset
OK - slight problem in that since I last looked at this thread on Friday March 22nd there is an early bird - I am not an early bird. My problem is that having missed the boat is that there is a 27.78% chance of a reroll based kick off and without the full whack I will most often lose these kickoffs - this is very detrimental to my entire Ogre strategy (hopefully I can finally win a Stunty cup unless Harry Potter F**ks me again).
So as I really can't play with that much disadvantage - solutions either time travel which I am cool with or the slightly more feasible how much extra cash is it going to cost me to have the full whack of 3 CL's & 3 AS's ?

To be fair Sam, the bonus deadlines were clearly posted. I even mentioned it in person a couple of times (Gert bowl weekend, for eg, where Hawk paid up). The 1 AC & 1 CL bonus deadline is 1/9/13, so you can still get 1 and then put another 2 on your roster from the gold.

It's an early bird bonus......you missed it, get over it, many elf players would like the extra chance at a re-roll, so they paid early.
It's not "pay early get a bonus......or dont pay early and get the same bonus" your inability to understand a deadline is no excuse!!
Would be great to see you there, I may even bring my "additional" coach & cheerleader models for you to gaze upon in envy.....

If your entire Ogre strategy is reliant (even in part) on the need to win RR's off the kick-off I suspect a return to the drawing board should probably have been on the cards anywayscs.sam wrote:...I will most often lose these kickoffs - this is very detrimental to my entire Ogre strategy...

Very sad not to be joining you (Edit: this weekend, woops should have been next weekend

Have fun all, see some of you in Andover at the end of November

Re: Exiles Part V: Werewolf Strikes Back 7&8/9/13 Dorset
Just over a week to go
With less than 20 coaches, and some very good players in the field, it will be a close run thing for the top spot this year. One little mistake could cost you the whole thing
Will vmcat reclaim the title and get his second win? Will Hawk stop winning bottom awards at Exiles Tournaments
?
The Stunty Cup is looking to be hotly contested by more than a few coaches (the best one was 2010 where only 1 Stunty played, I still awarded a Stunty Cup to him) but will they mess it all up for the prestige of being the Dirtiest Player (most sent off for fouling)?
I know at least one coach is aiming for most TDs and I suspect a few are aiming for most CAS. What will you aim for?

Certainly not. This is a campaign thread not a vote. Have you seen my bottom? #firm #bunsofsteel.glowworm wrote:So your voting for hawks bottom.....?
