T3FL Twin Cities, MN League Next GameDay- October 12, 2013

The T3FL (or TwinCities-Table-Top-Football-League) is a new Blood Bowl League starting up in Roseville, MN.

Kick off is Saturday, August 31 at Fantasy Flight Games. Mark your calendars. Let me know if you can make it!

The league will meet one Saturday a month for 2 games.

Schedule:
11:00am Check in, meet up
12:00pm Game 1
3:00pm Game 2

This gives time for talking to other coaches, team development, and skill progression between matches.

Bring $5 (to cover Fantasy Flight Games rental fee), dice, pitch, dugout, and your 1,000,000 GP team (plus any extra journeymen, star players, cards, or extra positionals you think you might use game 1 or 2).

We will be using living rule book 6 (aka competition rules pack plus the 3 "new" teams; chaos pact, underworld, and slann) with two changes.

1. We will be playing with the Bank rules (with the bank set at 150,000) rather than petty cash. I will make up some league cheat sheets, but a link to the bank rules can be found below (if you are interested).

2. Modified random MVP. (Dead players cannot receive MVP, but Stars, Mercenaries, and Journeymen can).

Season 1 runs Aug, Sep, Oct, and then playoff / championship in Nov.

League scoring per game
Win = 5
Tie = 3
Loss = 1

Bonus points (one each per day)
Dash = 1 (most TD of the day)

Bash = 1 (most SPP earning cas caused)

Just an update. I've heard from 16+ interested coaches. If playing in a league with a huge range of teams appeals to you, T3FL is for you!

So far we have Necromantic, Slann, Pro Elf, Ogre, Dark Elf, Norse, Lizardman, Human, Khemri, Chaos Pact, Amazon, Dwarf, Wood Elf, Undead, High Elf, and a few undecided coaches.

If you are interested in brnging a different team to the party (or even repeating one of the ones we already have!) send me an email (TCTTFL @ gmail), and let me know you want in!

Season 1 Kicks off in just 10 days!

I've had several coaches express interest in painting or playing before kickoff.

I'll be at Fantasy Flight Games this Saturday (8.24) to start painting my team. Open invitation to anyone else interested in making painting progress

The boy and I have based some Norse. Not likely to have them done by the 31st, so we'll bring the Pro Elves. But excited to be playing tabletop regardless!
