Just wondering if anyone on here has a particular BB7's rule set they can recommend?
Thinking of trying out some lunchtime matches - a guy I work with said he has heard of BB so I'm not letting him get away!

Thanks

That's great, Shteve0. I found a link to these rules elsewhere but it was broken - guess that was the same place the NAF site referenced?Shteve0 wrote:We've been playing a test ruleset that's been a LOT of fun. If you decide to try it out, please feed backWe've created our own amateur versions of the rosters, but there's no reason why you couldn't use the standard teams halved.
There's a downloadable pitch in there too that fits with the GW rules. Good luck!

Thanks JT-Y. Looking forward to trying them out!JT-Y wrote:We've been playing the GW version, just ignoring the alterations to the kick-off table because they refer to an older version and using FAME instead of the Gate. The rest seems to work just fine.
Simple is best afterall, and by Christ it makes for a fun, fast paced game.
Since I don't possess any of that wisdom, I'll be two games ahead of everyone else!JT-Y wrote:It's quite amazing how, after even just a couple of games, all traditional wisdom about the best skills to give certain positional goes out of the window...

Sorry to state the obvious but I'm guessing from this that you allow the full compliment of positions and that you also allow big guys? (I thought I'd read somewhere that they should be halved and 0-1 players weren't allowed but can't seem to find that in the GW document so must have got it elsewhere!)JT-Y wrote: All the other changes to BB in the 7's document are logical and work really well for an amateur/pub league and that's all that's needed to bring it bang up to date.
