Did they even use Score!?

Darkson, have you asked Lucy on the NAF site? He might be able to help.

TOs! You do not need multiple copies of rosters. It's a waste of paper.

I would say increase size of teams, but if you are set on 3 then just limit to 16 teams - still a pretty big field!

WCII used a unique programme just designed for it, I already asked about it.
There may be hope on the horizon, hence why I've not done anything yet.

Right, I've not heard back yet, so for the moment, I'm going to limit it to the 16 teams. I'll open it up to the other teams if I hear some good news.

Once the NAFC is out of the way, I'll start contacting the teams 1-16 to confirm they're still interested.

Over the next week or so, I'll start contacting the captain of each team, to see if they're still interested. I've already been informed the HDWSBBL team is probably out, so if that's correct, it will fill up a space.
Would anyone object if I asked for a £10 deposit per team to "hold" the space?

I've not heard about an Excel sheet as of yet, so I'm going to assume it's a non-starter, so I'm going to stick with the 16 teams for the moment.

If any team is short a player, and needs one who likes playing Goblins/Humans/Dark Elves, please feel free to consider my name! Got my team in too late to make the original 16 but I really would like to attend this event :-)

We may a spot. I'll copy your request over to the exiles forum and point people here to talk to you if they have.

Hi,

Looks like you can fill in Team BUBBA with Eski and Rubick.

Let me know when/if we need to get a deposit sorted.

Cheers,
Dave

Right, good news and bad news.

First off, found the problem with Score. Thanks to Sann making a dummy tournament, I've discovered that Score will indeed run a 32 team event. But only on Win7 or earlier - for some reason, it won't run more than 16 on a PC running Win8, even in compatibility mode (at least that I can find).
The bad news is that my laptop is Win8. :(

Now before someone jumps in and offers me the use of their laptop for the event, the trouble is that I'd need it for the week leading up to the tournament (to input all the data and install the printer software) and for a day or so after, to input the results, and to double check. I know I've been around the scene for a few years, but I'm not going to ask anyone to do that, and I wouldn't want to have it anyway.

What I will do is continue to try to find a software solution. I'll also ask my clubmates if any of them have a Win7 laptop (not so concerned at borrowing theirs, as I can return as needed).

So as it stands, it still going to be a 16-team event, but the chances of it going to 20 have got a little brighter.

My pleasure. I do sometimes wonder if I should just drop the number...
