Well, it only took 6 months to get the results of Brewerz Bowl up, so we may have a bit longer to wait yet
I'll give Alex a gentle prod and see what's going on (though I'm pretty sure he sent the results on to be entered)

For some reason results aren't being accepted. I have hounded NAF officials for awhile now and the problem is still being looked into! I can only apologise enough for the delay in getting these up. I still have the results all secure and backed up so they are not lost!

The uploading system is shocking and really needs looking at as well as a dedicated team who looks after people running their first tournament. If it's this much hassle each time getting things sorted and adding results then I won't be holding another tournament for sure and anyone from our club is welcome to do so.

I will keep to updated on the progress and I am truly sorry it's go this long.

Alex

Thanks for the update, very much appreciated. I don't think it's always this much of a hassle, but your point about new tournaments is a very good one. Having a NAF representative at a tournament works wonders for some reason.

I don't know what you used, but I've always used Score, and I've never had an issue with uploading results (even the first time I ran the ARBBL).

Score was definitely used.

Overall the NAF support has not been great... as well as it taking about 3 weeks to get new members registered, the NAF trophy wasn't delivered (Bsking got it at the next event he went to), and now the results are taking forever to be done. Definitely could do with some improvements :|

What's the problem with the Score upload? I know there's a couple of error messages that come up, which are simple to fix if you know what you're looking for.

Thats the problem, I have no idea why it isn't working. Tried again today and it wouldn't take them. All the NAF numbers are correct, the results I have doubled checked for any errors, the players data. Im betting its something very simple but being the first time I don't know why it fails, it doesn't even say way just says error! Or try again.

There must be a guide out there for this?

Can you take and post a screen print of the NAF upload screen?

For the Bunker Bowls, I emailed Joe the saved score file and he imported it to the NAF site for me.

afaik there is no guide, which is why I've started the score wiki project. Not much interest yet though!

Hi guys - I now have the Score file from Joe and will sort the results entry asap.

Mike - sounds like a good idea. Let me know how you get on. There is a NAF guide to results entry for TOs / RTCs, which I'll forward onto to you for info. I know you were in touch about this earlier, sorry I've not got back to you sooner.
