My High Elf Team: Los Fenix/The Phoenix (conversions)

Post by Sir-Skofis »

Well this is another of the teams that my brother and I have built. In this case I have don't most of the work myself. In this case I'll show all of the pictures directly if anyone think there are too much pictures in the post I'll edit it and change some of the for link to the pictures.

I made this Blood Bowl High Elf Team using Warhammer Fantasy high elf spearmen and some other Warhammer High Elf bits. I seen that some people now use the legs from the High Elf white Lions of Chrace but I personally because they have a sorter skirt but it isn't my case.
The Players of the team are:

2 High Elf Blitzers: Their shoulder pads are a piece of the spearmen shields symbols. The feathered head-thingy is from the Silver Helms.

1 High Elf Thrower_ I cut out a part of his skirt to give him more freedom.
Image

Image

2 High Elf Catchers: I cut their skirts also and I didn't put them heads with helmets to show that they have a lower armour value.
Image

Image

8 High Elf Linemen: I haven't done any complicated conversions for the linemen, I simple choose carefully the arms and changed the arm position in some cases.
Image

Image

Star player: Initially it was a linemen with a football, but I decided to upgrade him a little so I could use it as Prince Moranion or as a generic Star Player.

I also made some makers to use in our dugouts. The turn marker is an elf stone because I'm always forgetting to move the marker and with this marker is easier to remember. The touchdowns marker is a flying elf football. The marker of the re-rolls is the top of a table with an extra helmet and a paper with some awesome game tactics. The FAME marker is an elf supporter of the team make with a High Elf archer.

The team also have a custom logo. The logo is based in one of a women American football team.

Hope you like it,
Skofis

Another great looking team :)

I hope for some nice plastics with the new High Elves armybook release for Warhammer Fantasy. I want preferably a Elf/Pro Elf team but I could play with HE as well just for fun :)

What`s next in line? This is the second of six teams you and your brother where making right?

Thanks.

This is the second of 6 teams that we have alredy finished, but I have to upload them here and translate the few lines explaining from were they came.

We are thinking of making something like 10 or 11 diferent teams.
Next team that I will show you will be our orks team, and later on our skaven, humans and wood elves.

Cheers

Great looking team; probably the best execution using the plastics. I particularly like the thrower & catchers where you've shortened the skirts.

Apologies for the sort of threadjacking...

I like what you've done with the mini's, especially the catchers/thrower. The colour scheme works nicely too.

But there's just one thing that was bugging me, I couldn't put a finger on it til just this second.
I was trying to figure out what it was that I really don't like about High Elves from a design standpoint with those long tunics and the pointy helms.... suddenly it just came to me. They look like Medieval Klansmen!! Like if the KKK all wore chain/scalemail instead of sheets and pillowcases!!

Buggrit what a disturbing though. It wasn't my idea at all, and I hope I could take that image out of my head or I would not be able to play more with my team.

Very well done! You have inspired me to steal a bunch of your ideas and put them to use on the spare high elf plastics I have in the bitz box!
