I was just into one of my local games shops looking at what BB stuff was still left (this guy stopped ordering any GW stuff around '99) and I came across a Compendium 1 still shrink wrapped!! Couldn't beleive it. Anyway, I bought it and now I am offering it to TBBers for sale. I want to give you guys the first shot at it before trying to put it on ebay. PM or email me with what you want to pay for it and if I get a bid that I am happy with, I will sell to that lucky TBBer, otherwise I will have to post on ebay. Auction will be on until next saturday, or until I a winning bid.

Just as a side not, the guy has some original 3ed box sets; orcs, skaven, humans, and (I think) dwarves (still shrinkwrapped complete with tranfer sheet - except the metal human team, of course), plus some SPs in blister, such as Horkin whatshisface (you know, the DE), the gobbo bomber and the chainsaw one, Skuttlespike (the skaven mutant), a couple of human cheerleaders, etc.

Hey Torg-

Does the shop have any Block Dice, per chance? I can't seem to find mine and GWMO aren't selling them seperate any more. Something about if we sell the dice noone will buy the game. (oh wait, that's right GW wants our money) I remember the days when shops couldn't give them away, and now noone has any.

And what kind of prices is he asking for the Orc team and the human cheerleaders? I could stand to get a couple of CLs (got a bunch extra Chaos CL to trade) but will buy if need be.

If this is the compendium with the big BB miniature at the cover... yes, i´m interested

thats the only missing BB book... got all BBmags and the other two compendiums... pm please, what you expect to get for this one ?!

lightingbug, my friend says that MO in the UK still sells the dice, but you can't order them online. You actually have to call.

I can't guarantee that myself, but, what's a couple bucks to find out?

And I know I'd still buy the game if I could buy dice...seeing as how they don't sell TEMPLATES seperately (more my bane than dice).

only template you really need is the range ruler, which was the same in second edition, so just pick up an old box set on ebay.

OK, looks like I might call this one. Got a few bids, thanks for your interest, but it looks like BigD has it. What a surprise!!

No one else came close to his bid and I doubt anyone else will. So congrats to BigD!!
