Ressurection Gutter Runner

Post by madzit »

I'm new to the BB discussion world, but I've already seen a lot of chat about the coin GW gave out this year at the Blood Bowl tourney.

Having missed the ressurection event, I was just wondering if the gutter runner they gave out last year ever turns up for sale anywhere?

Cheers.

Dear madzit,
I had to chuckle about your post, but as you said, you're new to BB and its just normal (no offense). You asked a question like when someone turns up at the archeology convention and asks if somewhere the ancient
"Holy Grail" is for sale

But to give a proper answer: it's one of the most sought after BB items, and its possibly that it turns up at ebay someday (what's not turning up at ebay, anyway) but the price will rocket through the roof for sure and only absolute-die-hard-collectors will be willing to pay that price. And there are some of them at this board looking for this mini.

just my 2 cent

Would there happen to be a picture of this legendary mini somewhere?

Answers to this question:

1) This figure has been sold on Ebay only once by John Kipling Lewis. It went for 104 USD.

2) Go to http://www.house-rulez.com and read issue #4 ... its good reading and in the article on how to collect one of every current Blood Bowl figure is a picture of this miniature.

Thanks for the info.

After I posted the message, I had a look through the previous postings and realised that I had probably made a bit of a fool of myself.

It was quite an eye-opener seeing all that stuff. I've played the game for years, and I never knew there was so much in it! :o

Cheers

Are those actually gutterrunners or are they monkeys in a 3-point-stance?

Seriously...I've never seen one o' these figs.

For Blood Bowl in Seattle, check out the Game Wizard in Ballard (www.game-wizard.com).

Not monkeys .... look at the article in House Rulez #4 for a painted copy of the fig and you'll see a better pic.
