Update to title thread.

Also, could the nominated captain for each team please provide me with race choices for all four members of their team no later than Sunday 31st March.

This is so I can a) make up cards for every team member and b) do the first round team draw in the week before the tourney.

Warmest regards
B :D

Thanks Adam. Have put you down as skipper!

Something about a silly hat and stitching your mates up with bad matches ;-)

Also if you could collate info on what races everyone is taking and let me know, that would be great!

Cheers
B

FAO Captains and everyone else...

Rules amendment: the clause about captains not being able to actively choose an opponent from a lower racial Group will be scrapped.

On reflection it hands too much of an advantage to the captain picking first i.e. Captain B. It's quite likely that with the opening selection (phase ii) you can effectively pick the last three match ups due to restrictions on the opposing skipper. The intention was to prevent potential abuse of power from a captain who wanted to select himself easy draws at the expense of his team. I think that's unlikely to happen anyway so it shouldn't be a problem.

Thoughts?

I'm not sure about "unlikely to happen" but I don't think its a problem anyway. Being screwed by your captain is all part of the fun.

As a rule of thumb you shouldn't select Marley if you are easily upset.
