Boudica Bowl I - Huntingdon,Cambs - 9th/10th March 2013

Post by postmangav »

I would like to come as a spectator. I'm in Sutton so only about 15 miles away. I have only played one actual game and two games on fumbbl so don't feel confident enough to play. I also dont have a team or pitch of my own.. yet ;) Will have a wander round and grab some tips!

Always better to pop your tournament cherry at one of the smaller events :P :P :P

If you want a learner game come along to the league / club on a thursday night, and you'll almost certainly find someone who can lend you a team etc for the tournament 8)

Trying to sell the league again...

Don't tempt me! I probably will come along one Thursday soon as it would be nice to play some games. I have one friend who introduced me to BB last week. We only played basic third edition though and he has a 'habit' of not fully explaining the rules, at least not until he's 5-0 up then teaches me how to cage! :/ do you play every Thursday?

I've been playing the game (on and off) since 2nd edition, and I still don't know how to cage
There are scheduled games (for the next month or so) every 2nd week (not next week but 21st for next games), but there's always people around who could probably give you a game if you show up. You'll need to read over the CRP rules though, basic 3rd edition is a little out of date now :o

Come down to the club, I normally only play BB (no 40k, warhammer rubbish for me 8) ) so I can give you a game on the weeks where I am not in the playoffs. Or Sandwich can give you a game as he has no further playoff games (BURN!!!!!)

Back to Boudica, I'll be bringing Lizards so expect me at the bottom table as I just can't get to grips playing them. :o

Shut it, tier-2-boy
But yeah, any time apart from next 2 weeks I'll be around for a game.

For me its looking like chaos, or high elves, or chaos pact. Or maybe ogres. Probably in that order, since Pact and Ogres need varying degrees of paintwork (pact = about 3 players painted and another 4 part-painted, ogres = completely unpainted)

Anyone is more than welcome to come down to the club and play games on a Thursday and we would love to see you there. A few of us play other things but a lot of us mainly play Blood Bowl, so you wont be short on games and play time.
