Impact! announces $35 plastic team sets

I'd love to see the Greebo Horned Frog team in plastic, so here's hoping it someday happens.

That was one of the 3 teams we reached out to try and ask for licensing to produce. However ... a lot of uncertainity if we will ever be able to get that license.

Okay ... talked with the mould maker and with Chris figuring out how to do this based on the cost of the figures (as they take up a lot of space in the moulds).

We finally have come up with a plan to make everyone happy we hope.

So we are completing the main team mould that will allow us to create two different Elfball teams.

The expansion packs should allow you to create 3 other team options that have been requested.

We are currently having moulded the following team to be in plastic at $35 each.
1) Apes of Wrath Elfball team (14 figures (Siringit or Orc team rules), 2 Armoured Gorilla Blocker, 2 Armoured Gorilla Blitzer, 3 Chimpanzee Midfielders, 2 Chimpanzee Runner, 2 Gibbon, 1 Orangutan, 1 Silverback & 1 Gorilla Centaur)

Expansion Packs to create 18 to 19 figure teams planned to be released
1) 2 Armoured Gorilla Blitzer, 2 Armoured Gorilla Blocker and 1 Orangutan ($15)
2) 1 Gorilla Centaur, 1 Armoured Gorilla Blocker, 1 Armoured Gorilla Blitzer and 1 Chimpanzee Runner ($13)
3) 5 Chimpanzee Midfielders and 1 Orangutan ($11)

And as a result some single figure packs:
1) Chimpanzee Midfielder ($3)
2) Gorilla Centaur ($5)
3) Armoured Gorilla Blocker and Blitzer ($10)


We hope to have the team and 3 expansion packs on sale by February 25th

The elfball apes and black rock teams will definitely be on my shopping list!
I wouldn't have bought the Sarcos in pewter as I couldn't justify the cost. I have GW lizards and also the Greebo frogs for use as calasain in Elfball, but at that price I couldn't resist.
I forsee future spend on the Thunder Hammer team, and Cthulu models once they're plasticised!

Chris and I talked last night and decided that we really just want to keep to the $35 per a team model.

So we are going to release 3 Apes of Wrath teams in the following structure. Each one will be $35 and I'm told they should be in the store by February 25th.

The 3 $35 teams will be:
We are currently having moulded the following team to be in plastic at $35 each.
1) 3 Armoured Gorilla Blocker, 3 Armoured Gorilla Blitzer, 3 Chimpanzee Midfielders, 3 Chimpanzee Runner, 2 Gibbon, 1 Orangutan, 1 Silverback and 2 Gorilla Centaur (18 figures)
2) 4 Armoured Gorilla Blocker, 4 Armoured Gorilla Blitzer, 3 Chimpanzee Midfielders, 2 Chimpanzee Runner, 2 Gibbon, 2 Orangutan, 1 Silverback (18 figures)
3) 2 Armoured Gorilla Blocker, 2 Armoured Gorilla Blitzer, 7 Chimpanzee Midfielders, 2 Chimpanzee Runner, 2 Gibbon, 2 Orangutan, 1 Silverback (18 figures)

And while we are removing the expansion packs ... we'll still offer some single figure packs from it:
1) Gorilla Centaur ($5)
2) Armoured Gorilla Blocker and Blitzer ($10)

Soon is unfortunately a relative term for us right now. We have a large amount of work on que with the caster right now and we honestly don't know how quickly he can work through it.

The Ratmen were one of the teams in our wave two for plastic conversion. I just don't know when Wave 2 will even start.

Caster said he would try to get all 4 moulds into rotation this week ... I can only hope they make it in! Will let you know as soon as I have them.
