GothBowl´s 10th anniversery! Swedens oldest running blood bowl torunaments celebrates it´s 10th birthday by trying to be Swedens biggest torunament with 50 coaches. Help us make tihs happen! We run a no resurrection torunament with a 4 game swiss play off followed by two dungeon bowl semis for the 8 best teams. The tow winners of the dungeon bowl semis will battle for the cup in a regular blood bowl finale.

Ok, we´ll do it! GothBowl X will be NAF-sanctionated. The tourney is open for evereone to attend, but if two NAF-players meet their match will be reported to NAF.

Because NAF once said that our rules don´t fit their standard, or something like that. We do it our way. It may not be the fairest of torunament formats, but it´s our format.

With this 10th anniversery I do my last year as organaser of GothBowl, so it is possible that whoever replaces me will make it NAF. We´ll see!

I don't see a problem with sanctioning the tournament. I'll have to check with jammydodger as well though.

The only thing is that the dungeongbowl games will not be NAF-ranked, as they are a bit special.

Quite a long time ago. But as I said: next year might be totally different. This year probably no NAF. But I'll tall to my fellow organizer and we will see!

No NAF, no me. Sorry. Even though this is the closest Swedish tournament to where I live at the moment, it still is 5 hours by ferry/car and I want to make those miles count in the tables! The only thing that could make me change my mind would be if I could go full Con and play in some other boardgame tourneys as well. Will check the line-up.

By the way, I was at the SydCon BB tourney in 1994, how come GothBowl is older? Has SydCon been on a hiatus and GothBowl is longest running (consecutive years)? Taking this fact into consideration, it seems weird that the villages of Norrland can muster three NAF tournaments, but the second largest city of Sweden has none! Feel the stress building up!

Ah, sorry about the "oldest" thing. Might be my not perfect english. It is GotBowl's 10th anniversery, and we have done it every year since 2004. Of course there were tourneys before 2004, bur to my knowledge none of them keeps up every year. But if I'm wrong, I stand corrected and appologise.

As I said: I'll talk the NAF-thing over with my co organizer.

Yes, happy to NAF ranked the event! I have made a note that the games on Saturday 30th are Dungeonbowl variant games and may be categorised in separate 'variant rankings' at some future point.
