Re: NAF Championship LII - 25th & 26th May 2013 - Nottingham
Hi guys,
sorry but I just found this forum today and also I just found out that the BloodBowl tournament isnt dead. The last one I went was in 2010, and I loved it.
I am completely new to that new edition, and I have few questions:
-Is it still possible to join?
-How do you pay (is there a Paypal link or something)?
-How do I register?
-Are you using the those rules (http://www.games-workshop.com/MEDIA_Cus ... _Rules.pdf) or an other version?
and finally I am so happy to see that the community is still very active. I am really surprise, a local GW staff told me few years ago that the event was off and will not be happening again.... I guess he was wrong.
thx

Have a look at the Upcoming tournaments forums, there are loads, all over the place, all year. You may find a local one that catches your fancy.Shyvax wrote:Hi guys,

We use the CRP nowadays, search for competition rules pack, some organisers like house rules but every tournament listed will point you to that tournaments rules pack.
For a soft re-entry, check out Glowworm's (pm glowworm) Crumb bowl II, Crumbier bowl, entry in Upcomming Tournaments: Britian, it's aimed at new players and is a one dayer so it's not so intense.
Look forward to meeting a returning player. See you at the NAF.
Good rolling, have fun...

Looks like I'm not helping out (reffing) this year, so I'll be playing. I'll sort out paying when I have 50 quid spare.

TOs! You do not need multiple copies of rosters. It's a waste of paper.

Thx guys, I think I will go to "Crumb-Bowl II the 2nd helping", but it isn't happening for a while. Regarding NAF, how to you register and pay?
I am doing a league at the mo with some friends a local players, but I cant wait to be with part of a larger scale comp.

Hi Shyvax,
Don't know where you are but if Crumb is a reasonable distance then the Welsh Open (Welsh Open Link) may be of interest. It's on on a couple of weeks and there are a bunch of us from Bristol going (and Gloworm, Cantaloup and Sann who do Crumb Bowl).
Only thing is Hawca, who is organising Welsh Open, needs to finialise numbers this week (see the thread linked to above). If you don't have a painted team to take I'm sure one of us going from Brizzle or Chippenham/Melksham/Swindon (Crumb Bowlers) can lend anything you may care to try.
If you were going, Hawca is the local NAF rep so you could sign up for NAF at the event.
Anyway, welcome back
Dave

Easiest way to sign up for the NAF is at a tournament. You can also go to thenaf.net and click on the sign ups there. Still plenty of time and room to sign up for the NAF champs, and the details are on page 1 of this thread.Shyvax wrote:Thx guys, I think I will go to "Crumb-Bowl II the 2nd helping", but it isn't happening for a while. Any idea when we'll see the rulespack go up? Also will we being seeing a 'Best Team' prize instead of 'Best Painted' this year?

on page one
The event will follow similar rules to the previous two years : 1.05 million value teams with one skill given to a player of your choice before each game.

Hmmm. It would be nice to have a list of coaches like we did last year!
