Nice Brotha. This should especially excite tournament organizers that can now offer full teams at 1st place and not have to come out of pocket.

Great idea and two great teams to start with. However as such I already have both those teams
but will look forward with anticipation to see which teams are put on the list next! However I may finally have to get the 4 smaller sarcos pack to fill out my team to 16

Having server issues so if anyone cannot get in to the site ... sorry ... working on it we are.Darkson wrote:Scratch that - seems I can't get there via TFF - go via Google, and I've found them.
Shown them to my mate (sitting across the desk from me), and he's going to be putting in an order for the Sacros for the ARBBL. He really liked them when he saw the metal ones in at our tourney, but couldn't justify the cost (to himself) - at just over £20, he's in.
I imagine both of us will be all over the Sirigits when (if) they convert over.
Darkson ... Siringit and Black Rock and Gnome are 3 of the teams under strong consideration to be next to be converted to plastic.

This is great news, seeing some of Ed's figs I know the detail will be very good. And 35$ teams is amazing.
Just ordered my set... can't wait.
This new material is great especially for larger figures, where metal was a bit problematic.

Impact! announces $35 plastic team sets
This is excellent news and is being well received in our local gaming area.
The Sarcos will be bought and will definitely look into the rest of the range when it comes out

Re: Impact! announces $35 plastic team sets
Spent 3 hours last night cleaning the masters for the following to move to $35 team set plastic (no promises as we need to see what the caster can and cannot do ... but this is what we are trying to do):
1) Gnome Team with 6 Contraptions, 10 Gnomes, Head Coach and 2 Contraption weapon packs
2) Siringit Team (12 different African animal football players)
3) Apes of Wrath Elfball team (14 figures (Siringit or Orc team rules), 4 Gorilla, 5 Chimp, 2 Gibbon, Orang, Silverback & Gorilla Centaur)
4) Apes of Wrath Gorilla Centaur team (14 figures, 2 Gorilla Centaur, 6 Gorillas and 6 Lineapes)
5) Apes of Wrath Fantasy Football team (17 figures, 8 Gorilla, 4 Chimps, 2 Orangutan, 2 Gibbons and a Silverback)
6) Black Rock Dwarf #1 (16 players, 2 Dwarven Centaur, 6 Dwarves and 8 small Hobimps)
7) Black Rock Dwarf #2 (16 players, 2 Dwarven Centaur, 6 Dwarves and 8 large Hobimps)
In addition to these ... we are looking at moving the Impcrusher, Headslicer and both large Deadwood Treemen to plastic.

Re: Impact! announces $35 plastic team sets
I already have the gnomes, but I might need to buy them in plastic/resin to see how well magnitizing works with the plastic. I am thinking it will be a breeze compared to the metal, the weigh of the arms makes them droop, but the lighter material will probably not need as strong magnitism to help make more dynamic poses with magnets.

Re: Impact! announces $35 plastic team sets
Well, I have almost all of these models in metal already, but I think this is a great move. It will certainly make it an easier sell for beginners if they can get an attractive modern team for less than 2nd-hand GW crap would cost them.

Except for the Gorilla Centaur, that 14 player Apes of Wrath team looks interesting!

Re: Impact! announces $35 plastic team sets
Well, I already own Sarcos and Siringit and Blackrock from you, so unfortunately no need for those.
I don't need Gnomes, but I'm gonna pick up (more) Apes for sure!
