Pledges for 2013

Having outdone my own expectations (as per the pledge I made last year), I'd like to start a 'pledge list' for 2013:

For me, it's:

0: Finish my Lizardmen (which shouldn't take long, since they're almost done currently)
1: Paint my Chaos Dwarfs, finally! (everything up to now has just been practice for this, my most beloved 'Silly Hats')
2: Paint my Undead (and see if I've improved my skills on the same mini's as I did for my Necros; Wights, Ghouls, Zombies)
3: Paint about 16 Starplayers, including one Big Guy (Grashnak Blackhoof) and 4 Chainsaws (Helmut, Max, Ugrot, Hack)
4: Paint my Goblins and the Goblin Starplayers (which means paint every secret weapon twice and 3 trolls including Ripper)

If I get this finished (and it's pretty big 'if'), I'll have 10 painted teams, 27 Starplayers and and urgent need for Snotlings in 2014!

Thanks for starting a 2013 pledge list. Last year's list helped inspire me to finish the projects I pledged!

1. Paint up my Chaos Dwarves. (I am also a big fan of the big hatted ones)! I have the minis in hand for the full 16 man roster and several star players.

2. Convert and paint up a human team. I saw a great conversion team on the old cyanide forums made from empire militia minis. A quick search through the bits box yielded a full roster worth of minis. It also helps that I like the way that the human team plays.

3. Play in a table top league. Planning on starting up one in February with my friends. After playing a ton of electronic BB, I'm ready to actually roll some dice!

I might add more later, but I feel this is enough to bite off for the upcoming year!

I'm painting a ton as well. Almost finished my dwarf project that I started 2 years ago.

I always 'dream' of having the teams I already own, properly painted ('properly' means to my painting standards...), prior to put together new ones, but I seem to keep failing that big objective.

This year I'll try to adress this same issue from a more reasonable point of view...
I'll try to actually paint more teams than the ones I put together, at least with an 3:1 ratio.
(I have other stuff from different game systems I really want to give paint jobs to, so lets see how it goes).

Finish off playing the 24 teams in tournaments! Only 2 to go, so should be achievable

My aims

1. – Finish the Chaos Dwarf team I’m 75% though
2. – Finish the Lizardmen team I’m half way through
3. – Paint up my Lahmia themed Vampire team with at least 4 stars
4. – Paint up my Slann team with at least 2 stars
5. – Paint up another team either a commission or one of the remaining teams I need to do Ogre, Halfings or Goblins.

My (rather modest but hopefully realistic) BB aims for 2013;

1 - complete my work-in-progress slann team (fully modded, painted, based and everything).
2 - play at least 1 tourney.

I did not do 1 or 2. However, I did paint up a slann team, and purchased the great Willy 'Fling team.

I also (with Duder) started up the T3FL (TwinCities Table Top Football League). We will starting Season 2 in January (and look to have 20ish coaches)!

Goals for next year:

Paint up Ultimate 'Fling team.

Play 'Flings in T3FL Season 3 (starting in July).

How about everyone else? How did everyone else do on goals?
