I doubt it this year. We'll see. 4/10 chance of having time.

Re: Flame Bowl 4 - 1st & 2nd December 2012, Manchester
OK go on then (since Phil the Octopus is too busy)…
As Orion prepares to engage Uranus, and Sagittarius and Gemini are in congress, Mystic Pip looks inside the larger of his crystal balls to bring you his Flame Bowl predictions for 2012......
Swim Team- Phelps, Thorpe, Spitz and Duncan Goodhew (no prizes for guessing which one is Goodhew) make up this year's foursome. And rumours of new aerodynamic skin-tight Swim suits have the world of BB shaking with fear. Always the bridesmaids this lot, so they'll need to shrug off the 'chokers' tag they've earned in recent years. Unquestionable pedigree here nonetheless. Odds: 6/1
Brutal Cream Injection Machine - Fired up by the inclusion of action man Olli, Leipziger's band of brothers will be no push over. They claim to have more spunk than sense, which is a worry on so many levels. Odds: 15/1
South West All-star Manchester Posse - A north-south-Welsh combo. Will this blend turn out to be a hotpot or a hotchpotch? Only time will tell. Eurobowl star Hawca will be the ace in the pack. Odds: 500,000/1
Gazza's Tears – feat. very special guest - The most talked about, most tweeted about, most decorated franchise in UK Blood Bowl team tournament history. Women want them. Blood Bowlers want to be them. While others have hired and fired, imploded or flushed dignity down the plug hole in the pursuit of glory, GT have unflinchingly upheld their core values of fair play and sportsmanship. Sadly they are without dynamic linchpin Stick this year, and critics are suggesting it may be time to relinquish their title. Up against it they may be, but sportsfans shouldn't doubt their fighting spirit. Odds: 6/1
Team Vague - So vague we know nothing about them. All we do know is that we don't know whether they're coming or not! Pull your finger out Dunc! Odds: 100/1
We Will Eat Your Cookies - United only by their willingness to do anything to win, this latest contrivance from the DTW thinktank will be incredibly tough to beat. Banter aside (they’ve received their rightful share), all will be looking forward to locking horns with this new uber-team. It should actually be a walk in the park, but anything is possible in Blood Bowl.
Odds: 2/1
Team Communism – This team of Leon (Tory), Zedsdead (UKIP), Schmee (Hitler Youth) and Zoggy (BNP) could hardly be further from Communist. The only link is tenuous: Zedsdead is a lifelong Jimmy Somerville fan and tried to name the team ‘The Communards’ before the others intervened. With a blend of flair and foul language, they might surprise a few people... Odds: 25/1
Team ECBBL - Finally Lord Lycos has been persuaded to descend from his hill-top abode to join his London-based league mates. And full credit to ECBBL for finally mustering a team for one of these gatherings. They’ll want to do well, so will be a force to contend with. Mystic Pip predicts big things. Odds 5/1

Million to one chances happen 9 times in 10.hawca wrote:Those are long odds, hehe

Will have to be supporting the SWAMP, if only as they have the nearest team member to me

Are they any plans for Friday night drinking?
That Bar Kru was handy for meeting in 2010, any sugggestions?
Is there going to be a predraw or anything like that?
