Post by Indigo »

It has to be done, I promised the wife... all I can ask is to bid high and often :)

And yes I know the BIN price is a lot, but you never know there are a lot of crazy people out there....

£400  Fair play, you earn it if you get it.

had to include a high BIN, on the off chance it goes.
we were stung by an extra £600 for flights, so I kinda need it!

So this is the tournament limited edition piece of CRAP!

Post by BigD »

From a collectors point of view personally I've got to say I think this 'coin' is complete CRAP! This in my opinion is the worst thing GW could have done. Look at the size of it? Its about the size of a 20p piece and probably cost them about £0.02 to make. If it had been close to the size of the regular cardboard equivalent then maybe, but this is rubbish!

My wife's comments were pretty much the same. Like so original and OH THE QUALITY of it!!! And yes fokes, that was sarcism!!!

And just before somebody asks if I noted that on the comments form. I sure did but with a bit more detail! Bloody GW screwing up what should have been something worthwhile adding to the collection. Cause this sure isn't!

Oh, and if somebody actually does the £400 for a BUY IT NOW let me know. I've got a bridge in Sydney I want to offload at the same time, but the buyer has to collect! I wouldn't even pay a £5 for it

Indigo ... I'll give you 5 BPS for it if the auction doesn't go high just so I can make sure my BB collection is complete.

I'll be happy with one though since it sucks.

no, Dave, its different... i just take of from painting minis 4-5 weeks per year for travelling

Indigo...

take care, which car you are driving... in kruger park we had to push our no more starting car because we have to reach the camp before sunset, while there were some lions nearby. Hey, quite a ugly feeling
CT is perfect spot ... watch out the stealing baboons at Capepoint :o

ok, back to topic...

i agree with Galak. I just want to get one of those coins for a complet collection, no more. Thats a quite cheap thing, what GW did IMO. Sorry.

BTW... Galak, i will mail you tonight about the Snots.

well if people are willing to pay highly for it, then I am happy to sell this piece of tat, but if it doesn't get me a reasonable amount to go to our fund then I may as well keep it

I had the idea that, rather than just get a coin every year, we should all get a coin AND a figure. The coin should have a slot to allow a ribbon to be threaded through, and then we can wear them as medals...

I was seriously disappointed with this too. Oh well, maybe they'll improve it for next year.
