Vamps don't do well with too many restrictions on skills as they essentially all need dodge to be useful and that's before you start taking skills to help you win.

Re: Vault Bowl III
I have one
Personally I don't see what the problem with them is. Everything is easily identifiable. They easily cost as much as a "lead" team. What is the issue?
The decision seems to be as arbitrary as me saying "No GW models in the league."

Re: Vault Bowl III
You're obviously entitled to your opinion, but what's the next step? Me putting empty bases down with blitzer, thrower etc. written on them?
Knowing your 'unique-ness'
I understand why you want to play with your Lego. The trouble is many of the community may find it disrespectful to sit down opposite them. Steve could allow you to play with your lego, but if that puts people off coming to the tourny, then it's Steve that suffers possible financial penalties (not covering costs). You could have the argument that to Hell with people who wouldn't come for that reason, but that's not indusive to being involved in a good community.
There probably is no solution where everyone is happy, but you should support your mate running a tournament so stop wanting to play Lego during BloodBowl time.

You hit the nail on the head. But from the wrong angle.mattwhile wrote:that's not indusive to being involved in a good community.
I agree that models should be an "accurate" representation of the play, so that would stop the "go-go crazy bones" players and "labels on bases players".
In the case of lego it is possible to have an "accurate" representation so I see nothing wrong with it.
Rather than rant about it in the tournament thread there is a thread @ viewtopic.php?f=20&t=36630 specifically discussing lego.
Whilst wanting to support my friends tournament I also want to play the team that I have spent money on to enjoy.

I think Wee Man should implement a rule: 'Commissioners Privilige' - He may play his Lego because of the hard work he puts into running the Daventry League.harroguk wrote:Whilst wanting to support my friends tournament I also want to play the team that I have spent money on to enjoy.

Vault Bowl III
It is blowing my mind having this conversation in multiple places across multiple forums.

Re: Vault Bowl III
Is it worth putting a list of the interested players in the OP? I had to read through the thread to find if I'd actually replied saying I was in. This might just be because I'm "special" but then I'm not the only one who falls into that category
