wow... this episode couldn't have come at a better point in time. A few of us in our league have been kicking around a few ideas for some kind of house-rulely lrb4 side-league (just to test out the rules as none of us has ever played before lrb5) and i think a table-top version of stunty-leeg just might do the trick (especially because most of us have warhammer fantasy armies with minis that are just waiting to be converted into stunty-leeg players).

Now i only have to find out where to get the last version of lrb4. Is it actually the file you get as first hit, when you google lrb4 or is there something else?

Just had a listen and I wanted to be sure about something. Safe Throw with Bombs; it doesn't work on a fumble so the bomb is still dropped and you explode. So the only benefit for Safe Throw is that the Bomb can be intercepted right?

Eh? Surely its pretty much the opposite - so only a natural 1 causes an explosion (fumble), and the bomb is harder to intercept (agility test save). I haven't listened yet (I like to be lulled to sleep of an evening by Drew's dulcet tones) but that's how I read the rules.

ShteveO is right as far as I know. Hail Mary Pass is terrific on Bombers because they can launch Bombs (inaccurate but still) from the relative safety of their own endzone for an entire drive. Plus, they only fumble on a 1, which completely ignores the usual -1 Stunty penalty for passing. Also, Hail Mary Passes cannot be intercepted.

Safe Throw helps stop opponents from intercepting your bombs, though an AG roll for a Gob is still a 4+. Not great.

So, that means Safe Throw doesn't prevent the fumble of a bomb, right? So the only real benefit of Safe Throw for a bomber is the AG roll on an interception to nullify the interception.

IT went great! We did mess up by not feeding Nod Hero updates to Tweet out during the weekend (we will fix this next year!) ut we had a great time! We just recorded a full recap last night for the next ep of 3DB due out Monday!

A little late, but I just listened to the two monster CHG Blood Bowl podcasts and wanted to thank you for a truly epic performance. I don't know if it was the commentary that spiced it up a bit, but it sounded like the league got a great final to finish off the season. The carnage from the minotaur alone matched with the regens from the Vampires certainly made it a wild and crazy game of Blood Bowl.
