Not 100% certain that Army and Irish Dave's are in the country on this weekend. I'll poke them to find out.

TOs! You do not need multiple copies of rosters. It's a waste of paper.

Interested in this as ever, I just need to double check the weekend - I have a suspicion I will need to travel to/from the event each day rather than stay over unfortunately.

entry number 24, Mr Candlish...

Don't you fancy camping Dave (would save you a fortune)...

alternatively you could drink the fuel (money) you would spend commuting, and at least break even...

I'm sure any of the guys would be delighted to find you a space in their wig-wams (most camped last year)...

Snoring's not an issue as we're all so pissed rampaging elephants couldn't wake us...

Sleepwalking no problem either, we'll just point and laugh at you... :D

Just make sure you don't roll over in your sleep and cuddle a neighbour (buggrit's not fussy)

Tell your other half I'll ensure you behave (I won't, but if it means you can come it's only a white lie) :D

C'mon, who's got tentage space for the man-of-candleness...

He'd have to roll over a long way for a cuddle from me. Glow's booked us into the same guesthouse we stayed at last year.
I'm sure Katrina would agree on the not fussy thing though... LOL

Final paid for this event!

Frank how does the camping at venue work? (I.e. Showers? Toilets? Giving notice that we intend to camp? etc.)

The hall has no showers but hopefully like last year showers will be available at the sports centre round the corner (a small fee of a few quid, will confirm details soon).

There are toilet facilities at the hall and they are ok with you guys camping, the only condition is you remember the hall is in a residential area, so singing at the top of your drunken voice at 3am (like I was on saturday :D ) will be frowned upon and probably get me in lots of trouble...

There's plenty of room for camping, so no need to give notice you intend to camp.

One responsible (i.e. sober) camper is given the responsibility of Key Keeper (as the grounds must be protected from occupation by undesireables, so there is a gate which is locked late in the evening etc.

Regarding the "It's a Knockout" competition I was hoping to arrange for the Friday, this is unfortunately not possible for a number of reasons, but mostly due to a lack of sponsors. Sorry guys!

However, we do have some "Big Chicks" sumo suits and will be running a "King of Sumo" contest all day on saturday....the winner will win a £20 Beer Voucher to spend at the club.

We hope many of you will throw down Sumo challenges to opposing coaches, instead of our usual Wax Challenges...particularly if you are thrice the size of them....i.e. I might fix it so Matt While plays Grumbledook in round one...

As we have to pay for the hire of the suits, there will be a £5 fee (which will get you three goes) to participate, but we're hoping there will be enough of you willing to have a go at this (to at least break even we need 24 punters...note the local Hells Angels might join in if we're lucky! Not quite sure how to throw the gauntlet down to them and still get out of there alive though... :o )

I'll see most of you at the NAF Championships, if you're not paid up and can do so there it will be appreciated...as it will help us finance a Limited Edition Halfling Star Player we're doing this year, Belly Smalls...Details and pictures to follow imminently...

Well hello Talonbay, good news, but have I got your details?

Please could you either PM me Giraffe, or else use the thrudball websites reservations page to tentatively book a slot. see www.thrudball.com

This also helps me keep thrudballers updated of developments.

Or simply catch me at the NAF CHampionships if you're going, I'm helping to ref.

look for a 6'5" grey haired bloke called Frank Hill, or ask for "Mad Frank" ...
