I've not contributed to the legacy team for a couple of years but my experience is that it doesn't really matter how the mini's are based

I'd suggest one person collecting them all at the end base them all to keep them more uniformed.

The people have spoken Beaten up pitch it is!! so we use static grass and sand and paint the sand as divets in the pitch??
