Another oustanding Ironmanj! Well done, Leon, and thanks. I don't think I told you that during the obligatory post-tournament handshaking/manlove. It's a testament to the ruleset that those three teams finished in the top three. And of course the skill of their respective coaches was whoppingly high. Well done all! :D

Great tournament Leon, enjoyed it immensely. Back to the drawing board - need to start playing better sooner or later. Getting started on by a Gooner on the train home took the gloss off a little though...

Great weekend leon, thanks a bunch.

Really liked the 2 games on sunday, made the journey home and work today way better than it normally is. More of this please!

I totally agree about the 4 and 2.

I would only add (as Don touch upon) that a slightly earlier start on the Saturday morning would prevent the late finish Saturday night. Understood that this one was unique because of the roster picking early on.

Good work and huge congratulations to Phil. 6/0/0 with Slann - the Slann King is born :)

Another quality weekend at the Ironmanj :) Thoroughly enjoyed all 6 games. Thanks for organising, Leon.

And thanks to Big Pete for sorting out tea at Pizza Hut :)

Aye, well done on a great tournament, and I did like the 4/2 format a lot. Very cool.

6/0/0 with Slann just proves that wizards are brok..erm...suck? :P (and that Phil rocks with slann)

This was my thought when deciding this.

It would make it a lot easier for me to travel further south if more tourneys finished early.

So Ironmanj has now innovated the following:
- The greatest levelling ruleset ever invented
- The Lottery concept
- The first TR120 tournament
- The innovative (& stolen) "4/2" split

Joe really has harnessed my 1/20-ness...

Is Slann King rhyming slang for something?

Hmm well Leon did seem very much the expert on this subject when he was enlightening a select few round one table over the course of the weekend....maybe he can help elaborate what this moniker entails :)
