Ogres
I put a bid on these ogres http://cgi.ebay.ca/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie ... 45917&rd=1, but obviously these are 2ed ogres not 1ed. I emailed the seller and told him so and he wrote me back that he got his info from well informed gamers and distributers. I mailed him the address to Galak's site and told him to check it out himself. He wrote me back later after checking the site and stated "heads will start rolling when I show these guys this website", I thought it was quite funny.

I don't really care what the sellers call the stuff so long as I can find it (and I WILL find it). A set of Ogre 2s closed last night that some yutz called Trolls. It's up to the buyers to know what they're buying.
I wonder what that guy meant. Who's heads? His well informed friends or Galak's? Is Galak doing anything wrong. I don't think so but I don't know much arout those sort of things.

Trust me ... I'm not the one doing anything wrong. I pull all my info from only the most reliable sources ... like the actual minis sitting in my hand and the White Dwarf pages selling them ....snotsngrots wrote:I wonder what that guy meant. Well, if you're getting your info from GW printed material, then it's not very reliable, seeing the mistakes they normally makeGalakStarscraper wrote:Trust me ... Currently an ex-Blood Bowl coach, most likely to be found dying to Armoured Skeletons in the frozen ruins of Felstad, or bleeding into the arena sands of Rome or burning rubber for Mars' entertainment.

Maybe his well-informed friends are also well-armed, mentally unstable and prone to bursts of violence? Like mafia?snotsngrots wrote: I wonder what that guy meant. Who's heads? His well informed friends or Galak's?

He meant the fools who gave him the advice that these were 1ed ogres, nothing to do with Galak, he was actually quite pleased that I gave him the link to the website. It would be nice if people would do a little checking before they post things for sale. How hard is it to do a search on the web for "bloodbowl", I'm sure Galak's site would turn up in the search.snotsngrots wrote:I wonder what that guy meant. Who's heads? Oh well .. some moron actually believe they were 1st edition probably. You are right Snots ... about 12 USD a piece seems to be about right. 20 is way over the current market.snotsngrots wrote:That's nuts. I only value these guys about $8-10 ea which is probably why I'm still don't have any. I am trying to pick up a couple again. Anyone want to let one go around $10?

C'mon guys, these aren't Blockers - these are Blitzers.GalakStarscraper wrote:Oh well .. some moron actually believe they were 1st edition probably. I'd rate an Ogre Blitzer at least twice as high as an Ogre Blocker, and with regard to the Minotaurs I'd rate a Mino Blitzer 3-4 times as high as a Mino Blocker considering how cool that Blitzer was. Wouldn't you?
