and just to kvetch for a moment, exactly how many responses do i have to offer under this new name in order to regain my status as a "chronic poster" anyway...

i feel so amateur with a total posts roughly equivalent to woody's daily offering...

WHOA! I just remembered I forgot to mention my favourite BB song!

Chew - NoMeansNo featuring Jello Biafra:

Song about a killer rat plague in New York. It's the theme song of the skanky biatchen....

Some guy in a suit fighting rats off his face
Just leave 'em to the night, they'll be gone the next day

Sorry, the point here is that NoMeansNo are Canadian. Some of the finest punk bands I know hail from Canada

Deathwing wrote:And what's with that Raiders thing? Fight Song?? I guess they have a different interpretation than us...lol..
Maybe I shouldn't have been expecting something along the lines of 'You're going to get your F*kin' Heads kicked in!!'
 Well, our football fight songs have tended to have the marching band in mind. However, I always thought of this one being along the lines of the Empire theme someone mentioned in the Thread from Star Wars. Overt menace. As far as threats of bodily violence, Raider Fan supplies that himself. Whenever they play the Chargers in San Diego, someone usually gets knifed. :o That part is audience participation, and the song just provides them a canvas, I suppose. :smoking:

Wood Elves: U2 "Beautiful Day" perhaps?
High Elves: Crucial Youth, Youth of Today (migth be more appropriate with the Bright Crusaders though)
The Hobgoblin Team: Scooter, Modern Talking, J.Lo

But what about Napalm Death ("You suffer")? Hoover on - Hoover off. Just takes 2 seconds or so. The proper song for any team featuring a Wild Animal.

For all those Blodgers out there:
"I guess I DIE ANOTHER DAY, it's not my time to go..."
Until, finally, one day:
"I tried so hard and got so far, IN THE END it doesn't even matter..."

"Let the bodies hit the floor" by drowning pool?
Great song, but the title is just "Bodies".

If you like that you'll like "Halo" by Soil.

Still shouting out for "Bounce" by SOAD..."Pogo pogo pogo pogo..:"

i've got it, you should definitely add the clash's "magnificent seven"

'luther king and mahatma ghandi went to the park to check out the game but they was murdered by the other team who went on to win 15-nil"

sounds like a bb match to me...

"The ecstasy of gold" from "the good, the bad and the ugly" by Ennio Morricone (Metallica's old entry music)

If we get on to film music we'll be here forever.

"The Battle" from "Gladiator"...only problem there being that a team I hate in the Swedish Ice Hockey league use that.

"Spybreak!" by Propellorheads (the major shootout in "The matrix")
