This event will run on the 28th & 29th July 2012 at Cut & Thrust Wargaming in Bristol, UK

In typical Vanguard style we shall have amazing KR Prizes including 1st, 2nd, Most CAS, Most TD, STUNTY and the spoon.

The boards will be improved and we also have some stunning centre boards being built.

There will be a glowworm 24th place appreciation award

So get your names down and do your best so the damned Welsh don't win it again

Hmm, not sure if I'll be back from my travels by that time but there is a fairly decent chance Japan will have sucked my bank balance dry and I'll be able to actually attend a tournament without sleeping in a tent. One can only dream

Any plans for a non-summer BB related event in Brizzle?

I missed out on this year’s Gert bowl as it was too near to the Star Bowl. And sadly that one day event earlier clashed with something else.

Half the time I attend BB tournaments it seems to end up being a lovely sunny weekend.
I’d rather spend all too rare warm days outside drinking cider than playing a board game with my fellow sweaty nerds.

It seems that quirky extensions to tournaments are the in thing at the moment and it sounded cool. Why are you trying to say Ling Ling is not cool???
