You could use the official color code for your minis. You could paint the base ring in a color to make everything clear.

If I was asking, it is because I don't have anything to paint, and as I hate painting anyway, don't really want to buy brush and stuff for that. But thanks for the tip, maybe I'll get some motivation from it

Colored, small stickers that you can buy in hobby shop (or ava, casa, blokker, ...) You can write with a pen (I trust in the fact that you have a pen) the number on that sticker.

To be fair, it might be lost in translation. Dutch for 'Wooden Spoon' might be 'First Prize'.

ISTR there were English last year as well... but that didn't seem to stop mepmuff from taking home the trophy with... Khemri!??!

Note: I am not laying claims as to my own performance, that should be more around the 'Wooden Spoon' level.
