As it's a GW store, no alcohol. What ever else is fine though. I will have tea and coffee for everyone.

In the immediate vacinity of poole town centre, eateries include;
a million and 1 restaurants;
all the major fast food places;
burger van;
hot dog stall;
costa and starbucks;
etc etc.

I've not eaten there before, but I know people who have and they say the food is great, and when I was in there to book last week, the smells coming from the kitchen were wonderful.

Calling ALL Exiles Attendees, Can you help Duncan Hargreaves or Steve Dean please?

(note this favor is in addition to me trying to scrounge a lift from West Sussex to Exiles...)

I was wondering if anyone is likely to see or lives near Duncan "thechosengobbo" Hargreaves from Warrington, Cheshire or Steve "thewizardsknob" Dean from St Leonard-on-Sea, East Sussex...?

I'm just trying to save them postage on Thrudshirts they bought as part of thrudball in aid of Roy Castle Lung Cancer Foundation...but a LONG shot, I know...

To be honest, I've held them up for a while so should really get them to them ASAP...If I don't hear from anyone by monday/Tuesday I'll probably end up posting them.

Anyone else "Dragging it out" Saturday night?

Quick rules check re: skills progressions before I field an illegal team roster. It states that 6 players on your team can have a skills progression. Does this mean that if you have a star player on your team, you can upgrade him/her to 'super star' or 'legend' status and give them an additional skill? It doesn't say that it has to be a 'normal' player.

Star players cannot progress normally, so no to this. Standard roaster players only.
Nice try though

Edit: it actually does state in the rules pack;
"....you assign 6 skills to 6 of your players. 5 of these skills must be selected from the relevant skills players could normally take WITHOUT rolling doubles..." As you never make skill rolls for Star Players, this says to me that it precludes them from the choice. Apologies if this isnt clear. Next time I'll be certain to make sure little loopholes like this arent around
