And yes, that is now the official name of the plan! :D
+1. LOL. :D

Oh and hey Jonny - any chance of editing the info on this page of the Chaos Cup website? --> It's under the Links header, with a hyper link titled: Listing of all the information on all the GW sponsered major Blood Bowl tournaments. There appears to be a lot of dust on that page. :D

cheers,
Gj.

Yeah... I'm sorry. That LINKS page is quite old. All 3 links are inaccurate.

I think Tom A originally setup all those pages... and at its time was all very useful info for the other majors. Admittedly, I did VERY little editing on TheChaosCup.com for fear of screwing up something else connected to it. They are all on a shared server with other sites I believe.

My plan was to promote the CC via forums, stores, and social media, and not try and do a ton on that site. Also... I'm not a HTML wiz, I make my sites with various Wordpress themes. I had a hard enough time just getting a new pic and new text on the front page!

Next year, I'm probably going to design a brand new website maybe called ChaosCupInfo.com or ChaosCupChicago.com or something on my own server where I can have a lot more info on there and easy to have consistent updates with. Much like my zlurpcast.com website.

If I cannot easily edit the http://www.bloodbowlmajors.com/ page at the very least, I'll fix the LINKS page on thechaoscup.com to have valid and correct links on there.

Thanks for the heads up.

If you pre-registered AND turned in your rosters early.... you will get the VIP treatment at Chaos Cup. And Goldmember will bring you snacks. Possibly.

Chaos Cup 2011 is only a few days away at this point. The Chaos Cup Committee is kicking ass getting everything organized and ready to go. If anyone has any questions at this point, please let me know. If there are any last minute rosters that you want to send in, I am still accepting them. Send to chaoscupinfo@gmail.com

I've seen a ton of different rosters come in and there will be a lot of various races represented.

Everyone who attends gets 1 raffle ticket. You will get a bonus one if you pre-registered, and a bonus one if you had your roster checked via email beforehand.

There are tons of fun prizes up for raffle. Xtreme has his eye on the autographed Billy Mitchel (King of Kong fame) poster!

Someone recently asked me about stuff to do.... so figured I'd just post it here for others to use as well. This is only a fraction of things out there, but at least its a start!
Friday is a Cubs game and I will be there if you feel like getting tickets too! Blood Bowl takes over Wrigley!

Other stuff you may want to check out...I threw some locations on there if you want to google map things out a bit.

-Lou Malnati's Pizza - the best pizza ever. in Schaumburg (On Roselle Rd), In Naperville (On Washington)
Those two locations are in the burbs (northern and southern respecivcely), so if you want good pizza without going into the city, try those. If you are already going into Chicago, then try one of their city locations http://www.loumalnatis.com/Locations/ Lincoln Park or the Loop.

-Johnny's Beef - best Italian beef around. Elmwood Park or Arlington Hts. WHen you are at Chaos Cup, there is a place Portillos right there that has pretty good beefs too. No cheese. Make sure to ask for it dipped.

-Kuma's Corner - on Belmont in Chicago. Heavy Metal themed burger joint. Its Farming amazing. Be prepared to wait awhile to get a table, but it is a pretty cool experience. http://www.kumascorner.com/

-Game Pazzo - I've never been here. I just recently heard about it. its a big video game place and bar. I heard its pretty cool, and it is pretty close to the bunker area in Downers Grove. http://gamepazzo.com/

- There is also a Dave and Busters in Addison (Swift Rd) and a Gameworks in Schaumburg (Higgins Rd) that offers tons of arcade, and other games and food and drinks

- If you are just planning on going downtown, I recommend getting to Lake Shore Drive. Its a fun drive just to sightsee. and it really spans the entire length of the city... when it splits off to Michigan Ave, take that to check out even more cool stuff. Also check out Navy Pier to walk around and have fun... Bubba Gump Shrimp is there, which is a cool restarant. Near Soldier Field is also the Field Museum, downtown is the Art Institute, and there are also some good comedy clubs like Zanies.... also in the north side you can check out Second City.... I took classes there earlier this year! But you should go for the real performers, not the dirtbags who think they are funny!

Hope that helps... just some ideas off the top of my head

I posted on NAF as well but great job Jonny. The NA Majors kicked some serious butt this year as far as attendance. Both had record breaking years and both had 56 participants. Rock n' roll. Looking forward to many more to come. :D

I posted full results on the NAF site. For some reason this forum doesn't let me embed screenshots. :(
