Supposedly a 10mm naval warfare thing.
So man o warmaster.
Sounds like 1 box, 4 fleets (empire, orcs, vampires and helves).
I'm quite interested though I'd prefer a smaller scale, though I would have liked some super new blood bowl boards, dugouts, etc. even if any new rules were a bit plop and should be ignored.

Re: More rumors on a new BB set.
Having had a few months of MoW recently, I'm interested in this.
(Out of interest, how much is Space Hulk goin for nowadays? I brought a copy, but wasn't allowed to open it until I'd painted a BB team [club peer pressure - don't ask
], and by the time I'd finished, we'd moved on to something else, so mine's still sealed).

Currently an ex-Blood Bowl coach, most likely to be found dying to Armoured Skeletons in the frozen ruins of Felstad, or bleeding into the arena sands of Rome or burning rubber for Mars' entertainment.

$300 US minimum. I missed out on it. I think if you sell the Space Marines seperate could get more. Also thanks for the Man-O-War tell, I was really interested in what the next black box was, if they do aswell on it as the Space Hulk, well worth buying.

Re: More rumors on a new BB set.
If GW were to release a box of Blood Bowl, which it seems isn't going to be the case but hypothetically, I don't see them changing the game mechanics all that much due to the fact that the PC game is still out and at large, and is bringing more people into the hobby. I doubt very much they'd go to the trouble of ensuring that the rules on the computer game match those of the board game only to confuse everybody by re-doing them.

Re: More rumors on a new BB set.
Maybe they'd make the rules match the PC game - i.e. only 20 races, 2/3 stars per race and if you (for example) frenzy a player off the field for a KO, the games stops, had you have to wait until one of you concedes...

Re: More rumors on a new BB set.
Well, clearly this is GW's probably-hurried response to the huge amount of buzz and positive attention around Dystopian Wars (a steam-punk themed game of naval miniature combat). Classic move.
I wonder how much support this system will get (like all Specialist Games, I'll assume it gets a fair amount right away and then none after awhile). Space Hulk and Blood Bowl are fine to release as these one-time deals because the games are effectively stand alone games. Something like this would presumably benefit from extra factions, larger fleets, and more options than available in the single boxed release. Will GW muster the resources to do this? I'm curious.

Re: More rumors on a new BB set.
According to all the rumours, it's a one-off standalone box - no expansions, so no support, so no shouting at GW for failed promises...
