If(!) there was a Blackbox BB release (which I strongly doubt), what are the odds that the new hardback BB rulebook:
a) manages to screw up rules from the CRP?
b) only has 20 races (a la BBLE)?

And if that happens;
c) how many people will competely ignore it?

TOs! You do not need multiple copies of rosters. It's a waste of paper.

(NAF gets a slapping for suggesting tourney organisers use the CRP rather than the £50 Ultra-Limited Edition "NOTCRP")

Not very many, if there is anything i've learned over the years BBers will bitch and complain when GW craps on them, but they will still hand over their money and take whatever they are offered.

My experience, people complain loads about gaming systems...... but somehow manage to overcome their moans and whinges to play the game.

If there is a new BB coming out then its probably just another money-making scheme by GW. I don't see them investing in it that much though as none of their specialist games have any attention any more. Its a shame really as their specialist games added a good variety to their company. Now its all a bit "new edition a year" for 40K and WHFB.

It would be nice to necromunda re-released with all the gangs re-done and with the LRB changes added to the main rule book. That would certainly be worth getting and even though I still have the box set from the first time round I would probably buy it again if it came with two new gangs and more scenery, you can never have too much scenery.

Agree with this.

The main problem for a re-release of Bloodbowl from GW is what ruleset include in the box.

To add players to the borad game from BBLE should be BBLE rules.

To maintain their policy in tabletop, the CRAP.

Uhm, I don't see GW taking difficult decissions... 8)

I was under the impression the CRP ruleset was the CRAP ruleset because it didn't have all the fluff of the previous ones. No?

Surely a new hard-backed GW rulebook would have said fluff in spades I'd a thought.

The Necro LRB is a stinking pile of horse-turd! Necro 1st ed is a fair better game.

ah right, I will take your word for it. I assumed the changes would be for the better, I don't think I have played the game since spyrers came about really.

Both Warmaster and Man o War have great rulesets and are very well thought of so I have high hopes for Warmaster o War.

Those pics are of old models to give you an idea of what to expect but we haven't seen any of the official releases. I will wait to see what the rules and models are like before deciding whether to get them or not. Mind you it's probably worth getting just to sell on e-bay a few years later, space hulk goes for silly prices on e-bay nowadays.

Oh and what a mess the dakka forum is with all those stupid over-sized signatures, it was virtually impossible to find the text in all the useless spammmy pics and filler.

The Warseer thread gives a lot more detail and is more positive but then 40K gamers tend to be a bit blinkered so no surprise there.
