THRUDBALL CHARITY AUCTION - Painted OOP Thrud!

Post by Spiky »

Hi All,

Unfortunately the below model didn't get to Bognor in time for the Thrudball Charity auction last weekend. Having spoken to Frank, he suggested that I should auction it here. The proceeds of the auction will go to directly to The Roy Castle Lung Cancer Foundation.

This is an OOP Thrud made by Games Workshop ages ago. He's been based on a 30mm base and would make a great Coach or Turn counter! Yes, he was also painted by yours truly!

I'm happy to wrap it very carefully and ship worldwide free of charge, on the condition that you mark your paypal payment as a gift and pay the paypal fees yourself - is that a fair deal? :) I'll ask Frank to PM his paypal account to the winner.

Current Bid: £25 (MM78)
Auction Ends: 12 noon GMT on Saturday 20th August

Please could I ask you to post your bids in GBP only to this thread? That way, everyone can see the last up to date bid even if I don't manage to update this post.

Thanks a lot!
Spiky

I wish I could - the work is great, especially the gem stones. But I already spent all my money. Can't think where, but I think there was a tall man named Frank involved.

I bid £30 to have it sent to Frank as a reward for his hard work for a good cause.

(I already have the model and don't need a permanent remind that somebody painted it better than I will when I eventually get around to it! )
