Rare 2ed Orcs (apparently) for sale or trade

Post by carlbrown »

I've recently discovered on http://www.midgardbb.com/BB2ndEd/2ndEdMinis.html that I've got 3 of the Rare Orc linemen (unreleased apparently) and 1 Rare Orc Catcher (again unreleased apparently).

I'm not that worried about keeping hold of them so if anyone is interested then let me know.

I'm looking at either selling or trading them (not quite sure of their worth - I'm going to have to trust you're a genuine bunch of souls).

As far as trades are concerned I'm looking for components for a Chaos Pact team (I've might have a DE thrower so far). I'm also interested in putting a Skaven team together (currently have 1 Blitzer and 1 catcher).

Other mini's I'm interested in are Confrontation/Necromunda - sorry if this offends anyone for mentioning it on a BB forum but I am trying to collect all of these - just started in earnest.

Cheers, Carl

Two things:

1. I've had a message from Dave (thanks Redfang) saying he'd be interested in the Rare 2nd Ed Orc Catcher I have he's offering $10 is this about right? he said you were pretty hot on pricing and would have a better idea.

2. I'm not sure whether we're thinking of the same 'Confrontation' I'm talking about the GW forerunner of Necromunda which was published in White Dwarf. They made some minis to go with it (metal bodies with plastic arms sprue). I don't seem to remember any Thermo Dwarfs but then my memory isn't great :)

Necromunda wise - I'm looking for any of the 'confrontation' Brats and Technos at the moment. (I'm also working my way through the gangs that are still 'live' for the current edition).

Hm, normal galak is ask this kind of question  Ok, depends if you are a collector or "just" a player. Normal i would pay for a 2.ed mini 3-5 $US and ... as collector... until 10$US i would pay for a rare 2.ed mini. BTW... The catcher isnt sooooo rare IMO. Got maybe 3-4 in my trading time. Different story with the third Elve catcher 2.ed or some rare BigGuys 2.ed ...

You are right... different stories. I´m talking about the fantastic minis of the french company Rackham. Hm , have to check my old WDs collection about this GW confrontation... which year ? If i remember i still got some minis ... drivers... for an old car game of GW. Maybe i should try to sell those at ebay

I dont knew about this game. When i got a 2 years subscription for the english WD years ago i was offered to decide for the Orkamorka or the necomunda game as present. I took the orks, never played the game and used the cars and bits for nice dioramas... see my website

I think, what i would like on this game is this Roleplaying effect... the character ages, gets experients, develops skills.... like BB players :) Yes, i remember the good old day bca (=before computer age ) while playing D&D or AD&D
