Re: Vault Bowl 17th - 18th September
Vault Bowl II - Now fully Naf approved.
The three tiered challenge............
Venue - Braunston Scout Hut, Cross Lane, Braunston, NN11 7HH (which is 4 miles from Daventry)
Date - 17th - 18th September
Cost - £20, £15 for NaF members
3 games each day, total of 6 games
All profits will be donated to NSPCC/Braunston Scout Group
Prizes -Sponsored by Impact!
Payments to - steve@thegamesvault.co.uk (paypal)
Scoring is W12/D6/L0 +1 (up to maximum of 3) per touchdown/casualty
TV 115, full inducements except wizards and cards, no stacking, no stat increases, round events
Tier 1 (3 'normal' skills each day)
Amazons, Woodies, Fundead, Dwarves, Chaos Dwarves, Orcs, Skaven, Norse, Dark Elves, Lizards & Necro
Tier 2 (1 double skill + 3 'normal' skills day 1, 3 'normal' skills day 2)
Humans, Elves, Khemri, High Elves, Chaos, Nurgle, Chaos Pact, Underworld, Vamps, Slann
Tier 3 (1 double skill + 3 'normal' skills day 1, 1 double skill + 3 'normal' skills day 2)
Ogres, Gobbos, 'Flings
Round Events, (not necessarily in order):
1/ Angry Fans (crowd has mighty blow for game)
2/ Traditional BB (Astrogranite pitch, +1 to armour rolls)
3/ Storm Weather (Use the different weather table.)
4/ Ref's on Strike (Sending off's overturned on 4+ (*changed from the house rules section because imo 2+ is too good for Gobbos*), use of bribes after roll)
5/ Lush Grass (Overgrown grass, -1 Armour rolls)
6/ Inspiration (All teams who lost last round gain a Leader skill on a player without a skill)
Each round will have a different event and they'll be the same for every game in that round. Inspiration will definitely be round 6 so the Leader skill is only added for one game.

Fantastic guys.
Thanks for registering your interest.
Its all coming together now, just finalising the venue......
But the rules are sorted, round events will be posted shortly.
We are looking to try and make this a little different. All profits will go to charity, Nspcc and Dabs.

Wooo, people who finally like the events (matt HATES them).
Now to get my brand new penalties (Ice Hokey Face-Off) system tested properly.
Looks like I will be available too.

Not as much as I hate you for insisting that they stay in the league.harroguk wrote:Wooo, people who finally like the events (matt HATES them).

I thought we agreed that you were never to mention that 'p' word again.harroguk wrote:Now to get my brand new penalties (Ice Hockey Face-Off) system tested properly.

That is good news, let's hope you don't turn up with a lego team.harroguk wrote:Looks like I will be available too.

Re: Vault Bowl 17th - 18th September
Oh. Better put my name down then since my thread at the Vaulters stating my interest even before the event was announced has been overlooked entirely :/ You've let me down Matt, you're normally much better at putting me down for tournaments than this!
