A competitive first day sees Joemanji (D Elf) leading the way, but Jimany (Khemri) & Geggster (Underworld) are close behind. At the bottom, me (nurgle), pazzer & pressie (both skaven) & dahontaz (halflings) are in wooden spoon territory...

Plenty of action for GAUNTLET fans too. WB have regrettably now drawn level with GBBL at 4 - 4.

Full listings later, but an exciting day saw Joe & Geggster start game 6 in pole position to win, but defeats for both saw Jimjimany take the win with his khemri & Zedsdead nip in for 2nd place with Purplegoo in 3rd. Battlepuppy took both the stunty cup & best painted. Pazzer's shaven finished 1 point worse off than Pressie's shaven and took the wooden spoon.

This was a really good event. Jim's win with the Khemri and a couple of surprise results made it a thriller. The fancy Italian was a nice treat too.

Thanks to all, especially Alex. :)

Thanks to Alex for doing a great job, and grats Jim. Perhaps I’ve a poor memory, but I don’t remember a tournament where it was so tight between such a chunk of the field at the end, the title could have gone any one of six out of sixteen(?) ways right up until turn 15-16 of all the final games. Cool.

Was especially nice to finally play Bren on a weekend, and to play another Pie Bowl in the north west. Just like old times. ;)
