Im from Yorkshire, I've played Blood Bowl once. And won! Woo!!

Im starting an Orc Team and then Mabye doing a Human team for my brother.

My Orcs are going to be called Da Krumpa Lumpaz! They will be in a pretty much all orange kit.

If you decide you like the game and want to try a tournament, we hold a couple (the Stunty Slam [sept], and the Waterbowl Weekender [feb]) just over the pennines in Manchester

Re: your line-up, I'd go:

4 x BOB (320)
4 x Blitzer (320)
1 x Thrower (70)
2 x Lineorc (100)
3 x RR (180)

Or you could drop a RR and have an apo.

The troll and goblin combo obviously give you a TTM option, but you don't want to be in the position where you have to have the goblin on the pitch. Also 4 x ST4 from the BOBs means that you'll out muscle most teams at TV100, so you can save for the troll as a later investment.

There was a large Yorkshire-based league going, named TYBBL, but I don't know if it's still active (their website is down currently). Iirc they had a division based in Leeds. Perhaps ask on local wargaming forums?

Although the troll is Str 5 really stupid can be a pain!
