List of NAF dice colours

With the popularity of the black dice, I still think the NAF should release a different black set, with white inlay, for example. It would satisfy those who want black dice and wouldn't deter those who wnat to collect the original black ones as they have the dark gold colour (not bright gold that you see in some pics, which are obviously repainted).

Well, I have light blue dice on the way. So I am only missing the Green with Red Inlay and the Pink ones (I have the Purple).

Now if only we could get Amber dice to match THE Amber die.

Talking of ultra rare.. I have a pair of *very* dark green that were a mistake during the NAF green run that I picked out from the thousands I handled. And no, I never found a 3rd one!

I'm giving these to Frank for the annual Thrudball tourney auction (in aid of cancer charity) August this year. Pending discussion, we may be opening this up to everybody online....more to follow when we've sorted out the details. But thought some might like to see them anyway.

The main problem with re-running a main colour is that people might cheat and sell their new dice. When you would have black dice with a red inlay, I suspect all of a sudden the black dice with golden inlay will appear all over eBay. It is not very difficult to change the red into gold...

The others were like me, looking at what a set of black dice is worth but I have my own sets.

Frightcrawler will paint a team for a set of black dice.

Yeah, well...if people are stupid enough to buy a set of black dice with BRIGHT NEW-LOOKING gold inlay at the price of original ones, then I guess the just proves the old saying, "A fool and his money is quickly parted"

If you take a look at the set I'm selling (in the BB for sale section), you will notice the original ones has dark, kind of dullish gold inlay that wore off fairly easily.
So any black dice that are original would be easy to spot compared to ones that were just painted up to look like original ones. (and, what, people can't complain to ebay to have an auction removed due to fraud if a seller claims he's selling original ones with bright gold inlay).

Even if the NAF won't redo Black again (which I don't agree with, but I'm in the minority), they should do some dark colour with bright inlay (for example, the really dark green with bright red inlay shown in this thread look really cool), be a good change from the bright colours with black inlay that they've done the past couple of years.

Just my 2 cents.

I redid the inking in mine. Gold paint.
"Bright" gold is not a good guide to authenticness, though they won't be "Mint".

I redid them in off-white - white.
Should have put them in a box back then, now that I see that they are worth that much. Or bought another set...

I am using the impact! block dice (white ones). I love them, simple to read and not everyone uses them so there's no confusing on the pitch.
