Maybe I have to write something in defence of the seller, as nobody else is doing so. :P The figure itself is one of the rarer ones from the 2nd ed range and also being quite big and multi-parted, the price could almost be justified.

I am not saying anything for the paint job, though.

The item has been on sale for a while now. It seems the price and/or the expert paint on it does not appeal to bidders. (I know this because I have been watching BB figures on eBay quite intensely.)

It's not the price of a rare-ish, oop piece that people find amusing. It's the fact that the seller originally listed it as being expertly painted. This has since been changed which to my mind (unless the guy frequents these forums and saw the ribbing) means the guy has genuinely realised his/her mistake. Still... gave us all a laugh at the time! No harm intended. :orc:
